Good hours, but expensive with little space to sit. Have never paid so much for laundry.

This is a nice Laundromat tucked in on a side street in Makiki. The equipment is in good shape and obviously well maintained. There are 2 tables for folding and a few chairs. I’ve never had a problem with machine availability or having to look for parking. There are two levels of washers which offer HOT water wash as an option; regular(front loading) and very stinking large(also front loading). The dryers have those two options as well. Plan though on paying nearly 5. for the smaller size washer and around 7. for the high capacity. Additionally, It’s about .25 for 3min of dryer usage. That having been said; the washers get clothes really clean and the dryers are not your typical dryers. They’ll dry your clothes in well under an hour so don’t underestimate them by overpaying. Do about 30-ish min, check your clothes and reload if necessary. I appreciate the fact that there is a place to write down for and send a note to the owner if perhaps one of the units«steal» your quarters. The sign says that they’ll take care of you. I’ve also seen the owner come by during a couple of my visits and he truly seemed grateful and happy that we were there. There are change machines to give quarters and a soda machine as well. There is Sushi Man, Subway, a fast food Korean place and a couple more eating places in the area. Good to have when you’re waiting for laundry.
