Amazing dentist that makes you feel at ease all the time. It’s THE BEST bar none! Don’t try to pressure you into getting things done that aren’t necessary. Always make sure you can afford any procedures and WILL ALWAYS work with you on payment plans to suit your needs. Ask him any questions and he’ll explain and back it up with experiences and also sends you articles to clarify and concerns. You won’t be disappointed. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and supportive!

Dr. Sano is such a great dentist. No doubt, The Best dentist I’ve ever had and likely ever will. Very caring, gentle, friendly and professional at the same time, pleasant to talk to, takes time to answer your questions and just all in all an easy going individual who is clearly in the right profession.
Definitely not like those dentists out there who just because they have a DDS after their name, that justifies they’re clearly above you and talks down to you. You’ll get none of that from Dr. Sano as he’s not going to give you any attitude whatsoever — THAT’S how a good doctor should be. Was introduced and referred to him by my Mother, who is also one of his patients. So glad I found him, as my experience as a kid below brings up why.
My previous dentist (was a PEDO dentist) whom I won’t reveal the doctor’s identity, but he retired some yrs ago and his last name started with a «Z». There’s not many of them in Hawaii. Why oh why did Dr. Z repeatedly decide to pound hard on my chest when I was just a kid for crying out loud. If I wasn’t a naïve kid when that had happened, that would’ve had malpractice written all over it. When I heard that Dr. Z retired, I let out a sigh of relief to all the kids out there who wouldn’t be subjected to his bouts of irritation by forms of physical lashing out. Why be a pediatric dentist in the first place if you don’t like kids? I would never know.
I’m surprised there aren’t any reviews for Dr. Sano yet — this doctor is awesome! All I can say is, if you are looking for a dentist as described in the beginning, please look no further: here is your doctor. I don’t even live in Hawaii, but every year I visit the islands, I still go back to get an exam and cleaning done from my favorite dentist in the world;-)
