Jenny’s Lei Shop

What do you do when you’re in dire need of finding a haku lei? And you’ve basically called every florist you know. Well just head to downtown and walk around until you find a place. Well that was my original plan but luckily I convinced my Bf to take me after work.
He didn’t have a choice and he was the one that actually found this place. I remember when I use to ride the bus I would look out the window and see these lei stands right on the Main Street of Beretania.
I walked in and just browsed and there were (3) haku leis in the fridge. Yay! Score!!! They were $ 22, I’ve never bought one for retail price before so I thought this was a good deal. An old man was there crafting another fresh lei together and in the back were other older ladies doing the same. He was really friendly and very helpful to which leis I should get.
Parking is rare but we went there after 5 and a few meter parkings were opened. I bought (4) leis (not just orchid leis) and a haku all for $ 56 bucks. I think that is a deal!
I wished we had more lei stands on the west side because going to downtown is very rare for me. But desperate times call for desperate measures. And it was so worth coming into town for.

I love how I can just park right outside of the store, pick up my leis and go! The sweet old man that sits outside making leis always welcomes me with a warm smile, and at that point there’s no turning back and I head right into Jenny’s without glancing at the other stores.

The kind of place that you want to keep going back to and patronize. Street parking in front and nearby, Paid parking lot around the corner. Just run in get your lei then hop in your car and your driving away. That fast, that simple, that easy. You can also place a special order for leis in advance to make it easy.
