First time I ever got a facial, I don’t know why I waited so long! Izumi is very nice, the facial massage was amazing. I will be going back!

Best facial I have ever had! This place takes facials to a whole new level. It is a bit hard to find as the suite is in another tower opposite from the parking. I had the detox facial. Izumi is amazing at what she does. She uses great care and tender touches to begin the facial… the neck, head and face massage is unbelievable. She will also do a feet massage if you like while the face mask sets. Such a nice touch… your body head to toe is pampered.

I had a 90-minute«Deep Relief Therapy» massage at Beauty Elements Spa. At $ 125, it was a steal, especially considering LA prices for similar sessions($ 200 and up) and the highway robbery prices Waikiki hotel spas charge. I’m so glad I read previous Unilocalers’ experiences; I was fully prepared to struggle a bit with the odd location and started my trek from my hotel early to allot enough time. As others have said, this«spa» is actually rented space in an office building. It’s one small room divided into 3 sections or «rooms» by sheets. I’m SO glad I was the only one there that day — I’m positive my experience would have been less than stellar had there been others there. A QUIET massage is integral to my relaxation. My massage therapist was a lovely, adorable Japanese lady. Because she’s so tiny I was doubtful she’d be strong, but wow — she’s got some super-human hands! The massage was SO good — just the right balance of relaxation, pain(as she kneaded out my knots), and stretching. The 90 minutes flew by, and afterwards, I had that amazing«cleansed» and stretched-out feeling only a great massage will give you. If I lived in Honolulu, I’d make it a point to visit Beauty Elements regularly(but I would probably make sure to get an appointment slot where I’d have the place all to my own).

I’ve been here for a couple times. The first time I scheduled a «Detox facial». I was amazed by Izumi’s technique. I think she is one of the best esthetician in town. She mainly focus on massaging on my face which was incredibly good. She did some of my extraction(white and black), but I have too many so I gotta go back for the«Deep cleansing facial». If you just wanna have a regular monthly facial. Detox is your first choice and best value too. I went back for the Luxury Glow Facial for the second time with my Groupon. She gave me a lot of massage on my face, neck/shoulder and even a food massage(she skips arm massage this time). It was so relaxing. But I probably won’t get it again with regular price(too expensive). I rather choose Detox. Tip 1: Izumi is the owner and esthetician. Leave a message on voice mail or email for appointment. She will call you back ASAP. Tip 2: It locates in the Waikiki Trade center(office building) The suite is not easy to find for first timer so make sure you arrive earlier. Just knock the door, she will answer right away. Tip 3: Always be on time or 5 minutes early if you wanna use restroom.(She is usually fully booked) Tip 4: Free parking(validated) Tip 5: Facial and massage service are held in the same room. Please inform Izumi if you wanna be private so you can enjoy your service. Give me some time, I will definitely be her regular customer. Highly recommended.

I would give it a 2.5 but since she was nice, I’ll bump it to 3 stars. Got the $ 180 Luxury Glo facial for $ 79 with my Groupon. At the end she charged me $ 8 + change for the tax off the $ 180 which I didn’t expect although it does say in the Groupon ad that tax may be charged. I also gave her a $ 20 dollar tip so the total spent was $ 107. It was suppose to be for 80 minutes but it was more like 60 minutes. I did arrive 5 minutes late since I had a hard time finding the elevator to the building and then the suite was hard to find since it’s like a maze on the 7th floor. I felt bad at first since they suggest you come 15 minutes early but since she was the only one there, if I came early, she would’ve had to stop twice since a water delivery guy and then another client that came early for her massage came after I walked in. The«suite» is an awkward set-up since it’s just 1 room split 3 ways by just some poles and sheet like material. It looks cute but there’s no door or soundproofing dividing the facial area, massage area, and the«reception» area. It’s hard to really relax when you can hear the other person getting a massage. Luckily, it was a japanese woman client next to me so they spoke in hushed whispers. But I was periodically speaking to the facialist so I don’t know how the other client felt. I’ve had facials from many other places like Ampy’s, hotels, and medispas and I felt that the actual hands on time I got here was fairly low. I felt like I was lying there with nothing being done quite often. I know she was wringing out the towels and preparing concoctions but it took way too much time away from the actual facial. Also, the light therapy thing was lame. She was hand holding it to my face for what seemed like 10 minutes instead of having like a stand for it so more time away from getting anything really done. I felt like she could’ve had a stand or holder for the light therapy thing while she could’ve also given me a scalp massage or hand massage during that time. I felt like Ampy’s facials went down hill but at least they give your hands and arms a massage too. Since there are so many other spas out there and I hate driving in Waikiki and the parking lot for the Trade Center is disgusting, it smelled like urine everywhere. I probably will not be going back. Come to think of it, she said I should drink more water but she didn’t even offer me any at the end. You still get tea at Ampy’s at the end. I’m going to try Saralina’s next.

Izumi at Beauty Elements is absolutely amazing! Her hands were perfectly gentle while cleansing and treating my face and had excellent strength to work out the major kinks and knots on my shoulders and neck. The location threw me off a little bit. The parking is a bit tight, and if you’ve got a large vehicle, you might want to park elsewhere. I think height clearance was 6’4″. As mentioned in a previous review, the Waikiki Trade Center is very much a business-like setting. When I got off the 7th floor, I was a little turned around and it took me a minute or so to find suite 766. Once I entered into the«office», the ambience was much different. There was classical music playing in the background and a nice minty-herbal scent throughout. I felt immediately calmer. Izumi provided me a robe to change into and then tucked me into heated blankets. It felt great! She used a steam machine to open up my pores and gently cleansed my face. She cleaned my clogged pores and unlike other places I’ve been to, this was not a painful process. She followed this with a series of cleansers and warm towels on my face and it was heavenly! She also massaged my neck, shoulders, and upper back and worked out my many knots. I will definitely be going back!

GREAT massage! It’s a trek to get to in this building! The Waikiki Trade Center is very business-like and cold… not the place I would think of relaxing and getting a massage! But opening the doors, it completely changed! Very calm, serene, and relaxing. I can’t remember her name, but she is AMAZING! She gave a very relaxing and thorough massage and I felt SO good after. My stress melted away and I got transported to the beautiful beaches of Croatia! A little pricey, but a good value! Try it out! You’ll love it!

This is the 4th or 5th facial I’ve had in my lifetime, most of which usually take place in Los Angeles. I found Izumi on Unilocal and the other reviews are spot on! I arrived at her«office» located inside the Waikiki Trade Center on the 7th floor. It’s actually inside a commercial office building, but once you’re inside of her office you’ll feel at home and relaxed. Izumi, the owner and facialist, gave me a robe to wear and tucked me under the sheets of the massage table. Everything looked clean, orderly and soothing. The detox facial massage is one of the best I’ve had yet. She gently opened my pores with the steam machine and poked my face to extract any dirt accumulated under the skin. In the past, this experience can be a bit painful, but Izumi was gently and not forceful. The facial lasted approximately 1.5 hours, includes a brief shoulder massage, facial massage, face mask/peel and cleansing gels and serums. And, my face was NOTRED afterward! I nearly fell asleep on the table from the relaxing music, and was gently woken up when she washed and wiped my face clean from the mask. Izume is very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely go back again.

I’ve had many facials in the past, but the Detox Facial at this spa was amazing! Very relaxing and most importantly, it’s made my skin feel hydrated and rejuvenated. I’ve also had the pleasure to try their Sheet Mask! You will be surprise how supple & soft your skin instantly feels. Try it, to believe it!!!

I went to the facialist at Beauty Element yesterday since I had such a good experience with the massage therapist! OMG! I did the detox facial and can not begin to tell you how pampered I was! Amazing atmosphere and the softest of touch with the greatest of results… To add this to my existing regimen of services will be the finishing touch on my rejuvenation trek to healthy lifestyle and appearance! Mahalo Izumi! I am looking forward to using the take-home sheet masks too! What an awesome deal too!!!
