I had struggled to lose weight on my own for 25 yrs. my thought was that i just needed to get some of the bulk off to get me started. .to motivate me to keep going to get healthy. .i have since lost 70 lbs with only 5lbs left to my goal. .i went from a size 16. Down to a 2/4.more importantly i do not have to worry about diabetes, high cholesterol, aching knees or joints. .they taught me to re-establish my choices of food and my relationship with food. i cannot tell you how much my world had changed. I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend’s progressive weight loss journey. It has been nearly 5 weeks since I’ve seen my good friend and I am surprised to say she has lost nearly 25lbs within that time. Of course, I had to ask what was the secret! I’ve been a crossfit junky myself and I’m all for new ideas for health and fitness. In excitement, she told me about her great experience and consultation with Island Health Weight & Wellness. As you all must know, everyone’s lifestyle and body is different. Each weight loss journey can be called for different methodologies. The point I’m trying to make is that what might work for some might not work for others, for Island Health Weight & Wellness it is comprised with Nutritionist’s whom offer different food/meal replacement programs accompanied with nutrition education to help one lose weight efficiently. Simply, it is a medical weight loss plan guided by a medical professional. If you are in need of serious weight loss(about 50 + pounds), possibly plateaued from trying your best at the gym, or don’t know where to begin, medical weight loss should be an option to consider but of course consult with a doctor! So in sum, move more, consume less of the bad, fill yourself with the good, and find a support system! :)
