They take the«organized» out of organized sports. At least the volunteer coaches do a better job than the paid staff.

i9 sports is different than what I remember short teams to be when I was a little kids. The coaches are all volunteers and they promote a strong sense of everyone is not better than anyone else. It allows the kids to grow and increase their confidence in the sport that they play. My son has been in 3 season of t-ball back to back. He has improved immensely and loves the sport. The main concern is to have fun, which at 5 ½ years of age is basically what you wanna do. The nice this is that t-ball can run all year long, but the locations may change a bit. He’ll age out at age 6 for t-ball but he’ll be ready for little league. My daughter just started with I-9 basketball and in her first season. She’s a little rough around the edges in terms of actually dribbling etc. but the coaches are very supportive and she has improved a lot from starting. Basketball age starts at 8 years old so that they can be a little better at retaining information and learning plays. If you want to start your kids in a sports program and get them comfortable with the sport I would recommend I9 sports, especially for little ones.
