HPS has helped us with many projects in the last 15 years. They started with a very small job of putting in hurricane clips. They were installed within a few hours. A few years later, they did a total remodeling of my daughter’s bathroom. When the first few wall travertine tiles were installed, my husband noticed some chips on the edges of the tiles. Lenny removed all of the imperfect ones and put in new ones. It was tedious but they worked with us and put together what we had in mind. The crew worked everyday and the project took a bit long due to the chipped tiles. They returned a few years later for a total remodeling of our second floor bedroom suite. It’s a much bigger project. HPS had more crew then but also more projects. They worked everyday but sometimes it was just a one-​man crew. It took a bit long to finish the room but we are very happy with the work. A year later, there was termite in a piece of wood we had used it to fill a gap between a bathroom vanity and wall. Lenny came on a Sunday to replace it with a piece of granite. He didn’t bill us for his time. This is good service as its years after the they worked on that bathroom. We will definitely call Gerry and Peter again for our next project.

We got 3 bids for our remodel project: 2 bathrooms and 1 master bedroom. HPS helped in all phases, to include design and all details. Their bid was lowest and yet they delivered exactly what we wanted, on time and on budget. We would definitely use them again for future projects!

HPS Construction recently completed a doubling of our kitchen, on time and on budget, and we are quite satisfied. They expeditiously co-​ordinated the work with the Building Department for our permit, and got us cost effective value and timely action by the required Licensed Plumbing and Licensed Electrical sub-​contractors. When one wall in the adjacent hallway was discovered to have a bad batch of underlying primer, they returned within two days and stripped the wall, re primed it, and re painted it promptly. HPS also gave us contractor prices for the kitchen material. We got the cabinets for $ 10K while Lowes quoted us $ 21K for similar cabinets.

I recently hired HPS to do a bathroom renovation. My experience with Gerry Peters was great. They started towards the end of June and as of this review it still isn’t done. Workers do not work everyday on the job. They must be doing multiple projects at the same time. I had one person work on the bathroom for about a week before he left for another job. Then 2 people came and started to see improvement. Then they had to move on to another job. Not sure how many people work at HPS but I think they should finish one job before working on another. I am constantly calling Lenny to find out what is going on and why no one is working on the bathroom. Communication seems to be a problem. Although all is not negative. The bathroom does look exceptionally nice. I just hope it will be done soon so I can use it.
