Honolulu Zoo’s Wildest Show In Town is an annual summer concert series featuring various local musicians. Past musical guests have included Brothers Cazimero, Kapena, Raiatea Helm, and much more! At just $ 3 for admission, you can enjoy warm summer evenings at the Honolulu Zoo with some of Hawaii’s most talented entertainers. Zoo gates open at 4:30 p.m. and entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. If you arrive early, you are welcome to explore the zoo until 5:30 p.m. Although the Honolulu Zoo’s Wildest Show In Town sells food and drinks, you are encouraged to pack your own picnic to enjoy. When my family attends, we pack a cooler of drinks(no alcohol is permitted) and bentos from our favorite local eateries. Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs or a picnic mat! Even children can enjoy a night of music with keiki activities like coloring or Legos available. There are fun contests for them to participate in with exciting and fun prizes. Adults can also get in on the fun with a drawing to win an ukulele at every concert. The Honolulu Zoo’s Wildest Show In Town is a great way to enjoy those lazy summer evenings and see local musical guests perform live!

Every summer my family and i try to go. its so much fun. Its 3.00 to get in. the gates reopen 4:30pm and they close down the zoo section around 5pm. This is best time of the summer to just go and relax. There food and entertainment too.

A nice-sized crowd came out for Rolando Sanchez and Salsa Hawaii. Spontaneous dancing broke out in the audience at various times throughout the concert. The ukulele giveaway was fun and everyone was hopeful to win! Unfortunately, we didn’t win anything… And it started to pour at the end of the concert, prompting everyone to leave quickly. There is a tent that sells food and drinks, so you don’t have to schlep coolers of stuff to the Zoo unless you want to! The weather was nice and cool right until the end of the concert, when it started to rain! Good concert!
