Hawaii Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Lawler took really good care of me. I didn’t think i’d be afraid of getting these teeth removed but that day I was definitely nervous! He explained what he was going to do in really great detail. He was very patient and answered all my questions. His wisdom teeth extractions take 5 – 10 minutes. I got my wisdom teeth removed when I was 18 — they were all under the gums. It took 45 minutes total. and I was asleep the entire time. The shots didn’t feel great .- but after I got the nitrous, and the IV, (and the shots numbed my gums) I didn’t feel a thing. It was a really good experience overall — especially now that I’ve heard other nightmare stories from friends.

Went to Doctor Lawler’s dental practice yesterday to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled.
The staff were super friendly, very informative, and welcoming.
Doctor Lawler was super cool, he informed me of the operation from start to finish both pre-​op and post-​op care. He is an extremely professional individual and I even took a card for my guys as a referral. Check this guy out if you getting work done.

I went to Hawaii Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Inc to see Dr. Lawler, D.D.S. for wisdom tooth extraction. I was in extreme pain and went to Naval sick call and they referred me to him the same morning.
When I initially got to the office, the staff was very respectful of my concerns and helped me get situated quickly with paperwork and checking in. The office looked clean, it was relatively small which I prefer.
When my time came up, they sat me down in the chair and went through everything with me. The doctor and the assistant were genuinely concerned with every question I had. I’m one of the most nervous dentist-​going people you’ll ever meet, and they took care of that.
They hooked me up to the laughing gas for about 5 minutes to calm my nerves, then threw on the IV and a bite block, and that was it. I woke up half an hour or so later with no wisdom teeth and virtually no memory of what happened. When I woke, I was not groggy, I was not tired, I felt excellent. It was an incredibly seamless experience.
That’s not it! Post-​surgery was absolutely wonderful. I’ve developed virtually no swelling, and I have no pain to warrant medication above Ibuprofen. I have a check-​up coming Saturday and I’m sure they’ll be just as pleased as I am/​was.
I highly recommend this dentist for any wisdom tooth extraction you need done. I would recommend other oral surgeries too based on my experience, however I cannot say for sure because I’ve not had any other surgical procedures.
