I contacted them after the guide at Hawaii Rod and Gun cancelled on me a couple days before my trip. Although Hawaii on the fly was booked solid, they tried to help me find another guide. These guys are solid and helpful. I will be using them when I come back down.

Every time I’m in Honolulu, I call mike and we head out Bonefishing the flats. He is a great guide and knows where the monsters are. I have also gone with Kenny, one of his other guides, and he is also a great bonefish guide. If you are looking for monster bones, call mike ahead of time, because he is the busiest of all the guides on the island. BTW, he has a great sense of humor and can tell you some great stories.

Awesome. I could stop there! I’ve been fishing through the Bahamas, Florida, South America, Far East and all over North America. You won’t find a more entertaining guide with solid knowledge of fishing. So they say Hawaii Bonefish don’t exist? Oh they do brothers! First class act and excitement for REAL bonefish(they are their own distinct species). Capt Mike is a wealth of information on technique, real life, and connections with the rest of fishy-Hawaii and elsewhere! I couldn’t recommend highly enough(but that’s what the five stars are for). If you fish and are coming to Hawaii? BOOKIT.
