Been going here since I was young, and honestly it’s the best hair salon on the island. First off the price is $ 35 which is pretty expensive BUT for the work that Ricky does it’s worth it. The stylist Ricky gives his best for every haircut and he is very skilled. He looks at pictures that you would show him 1 – 3 times and boom he does your hair just the way you want it… PLUS not only the way you want it but he also adjusts the style to match you! I have full faith in every hair cut given by Ricky.

Ricky, the hairstylist, does a great job on taking his time to cut hair.
I would suggest you to park on Ala Moana to save time on finding parking, but it is totally worth it.

I really wouldn’t call this place a spa with two small boys running the place– literally.
I came to Hair Show because an employee raved about how nice the men’s haircuts were. Not for me.
I called and made an appointment on my half day as my usual impulsiveness led my afro-​like hair to need a trim. As soon as you enter the salon, it’s a pigsty. Kids play things all around, a huge L-​section couch covered with black towels, and very old stations covered in fake granite.
I had an older woman cut my hair who told me her whole life story while she shampooed my hair and shoulders, I got splattered everywhere.
The cut was meh, I couldn’t even focus on the haircut with the kids running around with wheelies on tile, a grown man conversing via cell phone insanely loud in a salon, and my patience dwindling down.
The one upside is it’s $ 25.00 for a cut. Another suggestion if you plan on coming here is to park at Ala Moana, their parking is so small if your car is big you’ll probably need to file an insurance claim as well.
