Unilocal Challenge 365 #62/​365
A great opportunity to dine in downtown Honolulu. Restaurant Epic was the pick for Thomas O’s UYE.
Great turnout and I got to meet a few Unilocalers for the first time. Food was okay; but measured to the comraderie; I’d have to say fun and friends places above the food (sorry Eipc)

As a working woman with three children, there is one man that I could not live without… my Unilocal intern Thomas O! What did you think I was going to say?! He helps to run the Unilocal booth and does other tasks to help save my often spread too thin sanity. Not only is Thomas detailed, but he does everything, as my daughter would say: «With Gusto!» I ask Thomas to do random things like dress up in crazy costumes, dance around like a zombie (literally), and through it all, Thomas never ever questions the thought process. He’s grateful to serve the Unilocal community and I am in turn grateful to have an amazing helper!
Today was Thomas O’s very first UYE and although I only caught the tail end because I was booked for other meetings, he had a great turnout! Lunchtime downtown is not always ideal because of parking but nonetheless, Unilocalers from all over Honolulu came out to dine. Our server was awesome and had a great attitude! Russ M swears that he would live there if they didn’t charge corkage. So Restaurant Epic, you should really take note. The man eats out almost every night of the week and is a wine aficionado like no other I’ve ever met. You’ll make back your money tenfold with his patronage alone. I have not been very impressed by Restaurant Epic in the past, but must say that after this brief visit I plan on returning.
Next time you see Thomas O at a Unilocal booth, be sure to say hello and give him a big high-​five! He rules!!!
