Tried to order the grilled chicken and they were out of chicken, so I ordered a hot dog. It was so salty, I couldn’t finish it. The lady in the black suit was rude. She put my food on the counter and called out my order as if I wasn’t still standing there waiting to pay. This was about 7:40ish on a Monday. Also they were out of cookie dough for the blizzard my son ordered.

We didn’t have enough money, so we had to go back to our room. They were very patient and friendly. They also made me a great mister misty. I will be back

The service was poor and the servers only came out after a polite cough… However the waffle and smoothie was fantastic and just was what required on a humid afternoon. Just be prepared to wait until to be served

I’ve been to this location several times now, and I’ve come to realize that the service and quality are truly variable to any given day. One day I’ll come here and it’ll be sub-par service with mediocre ice cream treats… While other days I come and the staff if awesome and nice, and the treats are spectacular and fully frozen… All in all tho, I love Dairy Queen! I’ve had more positive experience than negative overall at this location, so I won’t let the few sub-par ones alter my rating too much! Thanks to those of you who have great customer service attitudes and make the treats«with the aloha spirit,» it is bc of you that I keep coming back to this location! :)

This Dairy Queen discriminates against the disabled. so if you’re disabled don’t waste your time coming here. You will never be able to get down to order anything or just see what they have due to the lack of no disability ramp only a steep set of stairs. The staff there will not even come out behind the counter the even help you they just say you have to come down here and order and to pay the big set of steep stairs. I never seen any dairy Queen like this and how rude customer service can be so be aware if your disabled like me go to Lappert’s they have the best ice cream anyway and the best customer service then this Dairy Queen.

It’s cool they have a Dairy Queen right at the Hilton — you can get your fix anytime you want(well, they close at like 9:00, which is kind of odd). Ice cream is the standard Dairy Queen. Service is terrible. I had a discount card provided by the hotel and went three separate times and three times they refused to honor it. It was hard to argue with them as no one working there spoke very good English. Not cool, but I satisfied my ice cream and Orange Julius desires.

Came in with my wife last weekend and was not greeted at all. The employees looked young and lacked customer service skills. They didn’t even want to be there. I liked the ice cream, but customer service is always priority that this place lacks clearly. Your in hawaii people. Put a smile on, please and thank you. I’ll add an extra star for the ice cream though.

DQ’s or Dairy Queen has a branch in the Waikiki area. They are located in the Hilton Hawaiian village resort. The store front is facing makai(towards the sea) and just steps away from the Duke Kahanamoku lagoon. The entrance is a stairway with a few steps leading down into the store. It is NOT wheelchair accessible. I also want to add that the waiting or pick up area is really small and can only hold so much people in it. Last night, after watching the Hilton’s Friday night fireworks show I decided to check this place out and boy. did I pick the wrong timing to go. The line to order was ridiculous! Just so happen everyone that had attended the show was in a mood for ice cream at the same time so yeah, it was expected to be a bit busy but wow! Well, in time the line got shorter and shorter and I finally made my way through the doors. The Interior was really clean and bright. The menus, which is located on your right hand side of the store are HDTV screens, so you will have a pretty clear view what’s on their menu even while you’re standing up on the entrance stairs. The menu holds all types of ice cream styles, anything from a single scoop cone or bowl to the popular banana split. In my opinion, the menu is a little pricey and some might say it’s a tourist trap but it’s Waikiki we are talking about here! You should expect things to have a high price tag on it. There is also a Orange Julius food menu in here as well. The staff were really quick with everyone’s orders.
