I started off on the part with not bringing enough cash, assuming they had accepted credit cards. Thomas the owner had been so accommodating and instead asked if I could return to pick up my bowl, he would have it ready for me. I loved that he wasn’t rude and was very nice from my first experience. He had stated that they will get the credit card machines and apple pay set up in the near future. I understood since this is their first day being open. This cute little place is located at the 808 Center next to Urban Bistro. I had perused the menu and they offer breakfast items such as waffles, pancakes and a couple of omelettes and I can’t forget the sandwiches.(Price range starts from $ 8.95-$ 12.50). Since there are plenty of people that work in the area, the breakfast on the go was very inviting. Acai bowls that comes in two sizes(small $ 7.50 and large $ 9.50) For all the shave ice lovers, They’re available here in the homemade($ 4.25-Keiki $ 3.00), traditional($ 3.50 regular-Keiki $ 2.50), and shave ice specials as options for $ 5.25 in 9 different flavors. Bring your friends and keikis for some shave ice action. I wanted to keep it light and ordered their small pitaya bowl. The bowl is served in a cup and is certainly not too small. If you decide to dine in, they will serve your acai in a porcelain bowl with a wooden spoon. The pitaya is freshly made and is not frozen over night. I love that the pitaya wasn’t soupy. The quality of the elements complimented each other to make up this bowl as delicious as it is. I especially enjoyed the avocado in this mix and the almonds. From what I can decipher the pitaya bowl consists of: Strawberries Blueberries Bananas Almonds Avocado(yes!) Kiwi Mint(for a simple kick) Coconut(layered) Granola(layered as well) Pitaya Update! So I come back the next day following my cravings for a nice healthy breakfast. Aha! I spy the White Merengue Omelette. This is a nice size made with fluffy egg whites, tasty veggies with turkey and a side of bread. I love the fact that I can have a healthy option and tasty at that without feeling a single ounce of guilt. The bread is a good slice, toasted with light butter. Next try? Chicken Omelette with Rice! The workers made this experience memorable. Thomas was so adamant that I do not bring my dishes back to the counter and to leave them as he didn’t want his customers to trouble themselves. There are ample of seats to enjoy your goodies should you decide to dine in. Don’t forget to ask for a stamp card($ 5 off on a completed stamp card towards your next purchase) Parking is avail through valet or street. I cant’ wait to try their breakfast items and sandwiches.
