Burger & Sushi

I walked right by this place on my way out of the hotel. Then I got on Unilocal to look for a food place nearby. This one had good ratings so I went back in and the food was great! I ordered some sushi which I never would’ve done had I not seen the other folks in the restaurant with some great-​looking sushi. I also got the chili cheese fries and they were fantastic. Give this place a shot, I think it will surprise you.

Could be the best burger in Oahu. Also, the fries are amazing, very crispy. I’m not a big fries person but always end up finishing them. Tried the hot dog, not as good as the burger. Definitely check this place out.

Hidden gem!
Little hole in the wall fast food place with a few dine in tables.
Incredibly wide menu. We tried the sushi (dynamite roll is fantastic). Seaweed salad was as good as any I’ve had. Chicken teriyaki dish, chicken teriyaki roll and rainbow roll all great and fresh. BIG pieces on all the rolls.
American food menu was just ok but not too bad either. They’ve got chili cheese fries, onion rings and all the traditional stuff.
Stayed in Waikiki 4 days and got lunch here twice.

Great place. Super delicious food. The soba noodles were absolutely delicious. The kalbi was great and my son loved his burger. The owner was very nice and helpful. Our favorite meal after over a week on the island.

Was very pleased with our visit to the establishment. Came in around 1pm on Christmas Day. We didn’t have to wait long for out food. The food was brought out in a timely manner with a very good presentation. Also burgers are served on a pizza style metal pan with food paper underneath and the sushi is served on sushi style plates. All the food we ordered had great taste and the right amount of toppings to main ingredient. Would come back again and again.

I tend to be a tough critic: this is really a 3.4. I highly recommend Burger and Sushi because they offer a broad range of reasonably priced high quality food. I enjoyed their food 4 times in the course of a few days, and recommend take out.
Customers order at the counter of this small venue, which has a few tables with chairs. The interior smells like fried food, and when I ate-​in, the scent of fried food remained on my clothes for the duration.
The following comments pertain to individual food items:
1. Sesame mochi with red bean paste (rating: 5): This fried dish comes with 6 warm and tasty mochi dipped in sesame seeds.
2. Hot dog (rating: 5): These maybe all beef franks, are 1″ in diameter, and longer than the hot dogs I typically get at a restaurant. Delicious.
3. Salmon poke (rating: 3): The salmon is fresh and a generous portion is mixed with lettuce, onions, cucumbers and sauce. When I got this dish, the salmon had a generous portion of unevenly distributed salt. If I were to get this dish again, I’d ask for the salt to be left off.
4. Chicken katsu cut roll (rating: 2): I only ordered this dish once. It included a single long piece of chicken katsu, which was fried, but not crispy.
There’s a minimum purchase price for use of a credit card.

Looking for a quick bite to eat and stopped in at this place. Ordered the spicy pokē bowl. It was fast and the pokē was good! Would eat here again.

Small secluded space on Niu st. Various foods to choose from, such as burgers, sushi, hotdogs, and etc. The only thing I’d recommend is that they have someone stay in the front to help customers coming in. Although they helped me rather quickly there were two customers that were waiting for 3 ½ minutes. Other than that excellent service.

This place has great food at a great price with something on the menu for whatever you are craving. The service is excellent as well. We loved it so much that this is our second time here in 2 days!
We especially loved the Poke, garlic shrimp, and the pork and cabbage.

Very good food, very reasonable prices, large selection of menu items! My girlfriend and I have been here 3 times now on our vacation and will definitely be coming back! The spicy ahi poke bowl and spicy chicken sandwich are our favorites so far. Plus we’ve gotten a free bowl of miso soup with every entrée!
Good to see genuinely good food at a reasonable price on Waikiki… especially with a large variety!

Highly recommended! The business just opened in the old aloha sushi restaurant. Very nice staff. The food, prices, and services is extremely food. The sushi is awesome!
