I haven’t been there myself but for you fans, I know where it is now. It’s at the 2600 block of Kuhio Avenue in the lot between the building with the real estate office, and a rental moped company. You can’t miss the big blue bus! I can see it from my window.

Been meaning to write a review for this spot. Too bad it’s closed. The clam linguine was awesome! Go across the street and grab an ice cold brew for Aloha gas and boom best meal when you’re tired and hungry. It’s the closest you can get to NShore styles bein in town. Bring it back!

Easy location on the corner at the 76 gas station. Garlic shrimp off the hook, good portions, friendly staff. Ono grinds if you in the area.

Food truck near matsumoto’s shaved ice /grocery store. Service: The servers are a little rude but you don’t have to interact with them too much. Food: I has the garlic shrimp — spicy and it was delicious! They were perfectly cooked, but you had to peel them yourself. The sauce was seasoned well. They give you two scoops of rice and some salad. The garlic bread was the best part. Soft but crunchy. Overall: I would definitely recommend this place of you pass by it.

$ 25 for High quality steak and lobster tail that comes with a mixed green salad, rice and corn. Best bargain on Waikiki! Came back the next day for lunch and had the Garlic Shrimp– AMAZING!!! Don’t miss out on this puppy!

WOW. OK, so don’t be fooled that this is inside International Marketplace. It might seem expensive at first, but after you try the food you will realize they serve food good enough for a 4 start restaurant and is more than reasonably priced. I tried the garlic shrimp, the clams and poke from here. EVERYTHING was AMAZING. After you eat here you will understand why so many rich looking Japanese people line up here for take out. I ate here so many times while in Waikiki. Comparing it to Giovani’s, I would say its similar but I would give it to this place over Giovani’s. The people working there are super nice and if you stay to eat there, they put effort into the presentation of the plate. I seen some Japanese use coupons for here but looked though a lot of coupon books and couldn’t find a deal, but do check, maybe you will be lucky.

Accidentally chanced upon this place and I’m so happy that i did !!! I was actually looking for Giovanni’s but found this place instead and decided to give it a try. Had the garlic shrimp plate and it was amazing. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the butter garlic sauce was incredibly delicious. Giovanni’s is no match for this place. Bf had the steak and garlic shrimp combo and he said the steak was well-cooked as well. Parking is available behind the truck along with the eating area. It was so good that I wish I could’ve returned.

Call the number listed and it was disconnected. Found another Blue Water Shrimp and Seafood truck in Haleiwa @ (808) 228‑6314 and they said the trucks no longer operate in Waikiki. the only location is the permanent building in the International Market. Guy was super cool about it and explained the whole situation, thats why they got high marks.

OHMYGOD! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOGOOOOD! This was down the street from my sister’s apt and in the week I was there I must have visited this truck at least three times. I usually just order the Garlic shrimp plate and pay the extra $ 1 for the shells to be removed. The plate comes with rice, salad and corn… perfect meal for one! Thought this place was waaaay better than Giovanni’s which is overrated in my opinion.

Located in the International Market food court and it was the only one with a line at 9 p.m. at night… WTH! If you are looking for some seafood and not willing to pay over $ 15, this is the place to hit up. I got the combo plate which included the garlic shrimp and ahi. It was alot of food, but well worth it. The food did take awhile tho, but it was worth the wait. Great place to eat and when you are done, go across to the aisle to get a dole whip or the ice cream shop(which is also great) to end the night!

FIVESTARS! Best local shrimp truck, very convenient location. I always order the 1) Really Garlic Shrimp, spicy with all rice and PEELED. They don’t post it there but you can request to have the shrimp peeled for $ 1 more. I only eat here when I’m on my lunch break at work, so I definitely think its worth it and less messy. especially since I don’t want to reek of garlic during work! Don’t forget to say you’re Kama’aina too! You get a 10% discount. My coworkers and I used to take the $ 1 off coupons in those tourist books outside of our shop, but its either use the $ 1 off coupon OR Kama’aina, not both. Just make sure you have your ID on you. The sauce is very tasty, I end up scooping it all over the rice and eating the whole thing. The plate also comes with a corn on the cobb and a piece of bread. Now back in the day they use to give a larger piece of corn, but its okay. the main attraction is the shrimp!

Convenient, as-close-to-a-North-Shore-shrimp-truck experience as you’ll get in Waikiki. It’s located in a parking lot off Kuhio, shared with a Mexican food truck and a steak truck? Go to the one where all the Japanese tourists are congregating. I ended up coming here twice — I didn’t have time for sit-down meals and this place fit the bill perfectly. Get the scampi shrimp, trust me — it is tastier than that Really Garlic plate. Comes with the shell on, which is a bit annoying but it’s still pretty quality shrimp. Dinners are served with seaweed sprinkled rice, thousand island dressing salad, and a piece of corn on the cob. Their lobster tail is also very decent if you’re in the mood for it. I would pass on the ahi steak. All the styrofoam packaging upsets me. There is no difference between«for here» or «to go».

This is my favorite truck for Garlic Shrimp and Seafood in Waikiki. If you can’t make it out to Kahuku or North Shore for the real deal, this is a good second place choice! The plates range from $ 10 ~ $ 15 depending on what you’d like to order. They have crab legs, shrimp, salad, black and blue ahi, and clams. I used to eat here at least once a week, because they are open late and are conveniently located on Kuhio Ave. in an empty lot which they dressed up to dazzle passersby. I know the owner, he also owns Magoo’s Pizza. So if you enjoy the infamous local pizza from Magoo’s you’ll love the seafood here.

A lone shrimp truck in the heart of Waikiki, cut off from his whole family of shrimp trucks on the North Shore… I came here last year and the garlic shrimp was amazing — succulent, and doused in a golden flavourful garlicky sauce( ). They were so good that I made this shrimp truck my first food stop on my Hawaiian vacation this year. I didn’t think things would be so different after a year. Ok, so that’s a bit of an exaggeration. The shrimp was still fresh and succulent, but what happened to the sauce? I ordered the exact same dish as I did a year ago but this time I got a white creamy sauce( ). It was still pretty tasty, but not nearly as flavourful and finger-licking-garlicky-good as it was last year. Plus, it was too creamy.(If I wanted a creamy sauce I would’ve opted for the shrimp scampi — creamy garlic shrimp with capers, parmesan cheese, and tomatoes). If you’ve never had shrimp from a truck before, this is a good place to go without the trip to the North Shore. But if the novelty of ordering food from a truck has worn off, I recommend the Blue Water stall at the food court of the International Market Place for tastier food(i.e. sauce), a bigger menu, and a much more comfortable dining experience(with ceiling fans!)

We wanted Giovanni’s shrimp truck, but it was too far.(45−50min drive from Waikiki) Unilocal the nearest shrimp truck and BAM Blue Water Shrimp& Seafood Co pops up. OK .6 miles away is not bad. We get here realize it’s inside the international market food court. I was thinking that this was a shrimp truck but it isn’t and i believe they close earlier than the other food court stores. For 4 people we ordered: — 9 piece spicy garlic shrimp meal(comes with salad, mango salsa, and rice) — 9 piece shrimp scampi meal — calms with garlic bread — oysters with mango salsa It came about 50 bucks and the portions are decent. We all agreed that the spicy garlic shrimp was the best and the calms were meh… We never had Giovanni’s or any other shrimp truck on the North Shore so we couldn’t compare it to them. Overall we enjoyed the food and would come back for the spicy shrimp!

Garlic Shrimp! My boyfriend and I were wondering around the streets of Waikiki one night and trying to figure out what to eat, not wanting to eat at a touristy place. We had previously read the review about this place, but since the review said it was a truck, so we lost our interest and decided to find somewhere else to eat. I guess it’s our«destiny» to eat there cos as we were looking 9pm at night, tired and hungry, we came across this truck along with two other trucks. Turns out they have a place to seat(a tent with tables and benches), so not bad at all. Plus you get to enjoy the lovely weather while you enjoy your food. And I tell you, if you ever see it, go get the garlic shrimp immediately! Yes, it is that good. It’s very flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the garlic shrimp, not being a huge fan of shrimps, he LOVED it. I order the combination plate, being the person who love variety, so I got a sample of everything and everything is delicious! Don’t miss it if you are ever in Honolulu!

Whenever I order take-away, and the plastic bag starts digging into my fingers and cutting off circulation to my hand, I know I’m in for a treat! And, oh what a truly delicious treat my meal turned out to be since I had wisely ordered the mixed grill plate. For only $ 12 I got enough seafood to make me a very happy buttery girl. There were only a few misses which included a sad salad that was ignored and a piece of garlic bread which was really just a hoagie bun. There were a couple of items that could have been better which included an overcooked ear of corn and a few chewy scallops that still ended up being quite tasty. And then it starts getting good, there was a huge piece of tasty black sesame crusted tuna that could have made a meal on its own, accompanied by three perfectly cooked shrimp, and two snow crab legs that would make the pickiest of eaters salivate. All of this deliciousness for just $ 12 in Waikiki — SCORE!

This review is for the ‘BLUEWATERSHRIMP&SEAFOODCO.’ in the International Market’s food court. We found this place on accident when desperately looking for a decent place to eat in Waikiki. I usually don’t eat at food courts while visiting the islands, but hey! I was tired and HUNGRY! We ordered the Shrimp, Steak, and Salad dish and the Clam Pasta. And let me tell YOU! I was not happy with the WAITTIME! after waiting 45 minutes, the food order was finally ready. I give the service a broke ass thumbs down, but I give the quality of food and taste TWOTHUMBSUP! By our surprise it was GOOD! ALLFLAVOR! It was all worth the WAIT! haha

This place is no joke. 5 stars well deserved! This catering truck right off the Fisherman’s Wharf is THE place to go when looking for a good shrimp truck. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp and Steak entrée and it was delicious. We even went back here again before boarding the airplane. I felt guilty eating it on the plane… I know all those suckers were drooling from that aroma!

Me love shrimp trucks. I can’t compare it to Giovanni’s since I haven’t been there yet but this place is damn good. Especially after getting caught in the rain walking over there and arriving a big soggy mess, it was a welcome sight seeing the long red(albeit soaked) carpet rolled out to greet us. Had the shrimp in garlic butter sauce with salad, garlic bread & steamed rice and it was downright yumm-ay! Can’t complain about fresh, plump seafood that’s as fresh as they come. Will definitely return on my next visit to Oahu, unless Giovanni’s steals my heart first. Cash only.
