Good. Simple, light and fresh food. Good service. The veggie panini is what I imagine a rainbow unicorn glitter covered happy tears taste like. It’s really good. The beef stew was ok, it’s just phở broth with onions and carrots tho, I wouldn’t call it stew. Anyways, it’s quick and the service is good.

Cute place, friendly service, nice selection of local made Gelato and Macaroons. Go ahead and take advantage of the samples of the gelato so you can make the right choice, . Looking forward to trying out some of the sandwiches. Tonight was just for the Gelato and Macaroons. The gelato was delicious and the Macaroons were good as well. Outside seating is available. Adult and Kid approved!

The macaroon are great. We got 6 for a around $ 15. Lots of floors to choose from and a convenient take out box to keep them from getting smashed.

Came here several times for macarons while staying across the street at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. Large selection of macaron flavors from which to choose. I enjoyed the mango, guava, and vanilla macarons the best. I also had the dragonfruit sorbet once. Not the biggest dragonfruit fan but I primarily got it because the color looks cool in pictures. Service was friendly each visit.

This review is purely for the macaroons. The service was great and I’m sure the ice cream is good. I ordered 4 different types of macaroons and they were pretty bad. I say this because for $ 2.25, you should get something decent. Sure they won’t be Botega Louie quality, but something close for that price. The filing was similar in all 4, and it tasted like cool whip mixed with cream cheese. The outer layers was just jam packed with artificial flavors. I would expect something like this at a school fundraiser, not a business.

They have a great variety of macarons. Came to this place 3x during my visit. The macarons were good. We got their Vietnamese sandwiches also that were good too.

Great little place right near the beach. Great for after Friday fireworks which start at 7:45PM.(They last 5 minutes facing to the West.) A lot of variety in flavor in gelato and sorbet.

This is a hidden gem for residents of Waikiki or if your a tourist. If your looking to get something quick to eat that’s both delicious and not overpriced as most things are in Waikiki and Honolulu in general this should be your go to spot. I was craving a sandwich at night when I found this place and was not looking to spend upwards of $ 10 for some bread, meat, and cheese. Well they don’t sell sandwiches they have delicious panini’s. Even better if your looking to be healthy their vegetarian panini’s has a fair amount of vegetables and is one of the best veggie panini’s I have ever had. They also make Banh Mi and smoothies. They also have some of the best Gelato I have ever had in Hawaii or on the mainland. No it’s not comparable to Gelato in Italy but outside of there you probably won’t find much better. Also for you sweet tooth lovers they have macaroons.

Ugh… Acai Bowl and iced coffee for breakfast. This Acai bowl takes the cake for the WORST Acai bowl I ever had… The Acai was watery and only had a faint taste of the Acai flavor(That was $ 10). The coffee was good!(But it was $ 4). For the priced I pay, I honestly believed I would get an amazing Acai bow, but I Guess it’s just Waikiki price :(

My hubby and I stayed at the Outirgger Hotel, which was right across from the Beachwalk Café. We thought we would give their gelato ago and wow! Lots of flavour and very refreshing on a warm day. We came back another day and tried their BBQ chicken Bahn Mi… SOADDICTIVE! I had it twice during our stay in Waikiki lol it was fresh and the bread was so crunchy and delicious. So if you are staying near by, this is a great spot for yummy gelato and Bahn mi!

Walked in just for the Croissant Gelato(Macadamia Nut flavor), and was NOT disappointed! The croissant was toasted and the gelato was dangerously delicious! I have to come back for more!

A fortuitous find on a night of drunken debauch, this café’s banh mi sandwiches literally shocked me back into reality. Concerned that it was merely an alcohol induced experience, I returned a few days later and was confounded by the fact that it remained a delicate treasure! Hah! In all seriousness though, their sandwiches are probably the best Banh Mi sandwiches I have laid tongue muscles upon during my extended tenure in Hawaii. Highly recommended if you are perusing the sidewalks in Waikiki and have an itch for simple, delightful twist on those French-Vietnamese sammies.

I forgot to write this review from my recent visit during July. Walking back from breakfast at the Heavenly( Unilocalers you need to try that place too, it’s across from Ross) and my daughter yelled out to me, «Macaroons!», and I’m a huge fan of French macaroons. She saw a picture in the window. I couldn’t resist. The macaroons were like regular macaroons on steroids. They were very flavorful. I have to say that these were some of my all time faves. If you’re craving some sweets at a reasonable price stop by. It’s next to Roy’s(that place was delicious).

Wanted dessert after dinner and this was the perfect place. They had a nice selection(at least 12) of gelato flavors. They also had a variety of macarons. They also served banh mi sandwiches, but I didn’t pay attention since I was so focused on dessert. Ended up choosing the red velvet and vanilla bean gelato as well as two coconut and mango macarons. Gelato is delicious. And haven’t cracked into the macarons yet.

La Gelateria GELATO, La Tour Café MACARONS, and panini and Banh Mi sandwiches in Waikiki?! And open until 11pm? Sign me up. I live in Honolulu, and when sweet tooth queen Kim C wrote about this place, I couldn’t WAIT to check it out. I can’t think of another place anywhere on this island that sells all those in one place. This is a unique spot and if you’ve come across this review because you are on vacation and your sweet tooth is calling you, stop reading now and go find this place. LOCATION Great spot in Waikiki across the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Hotel and Roy’s Waikiki on the corner of Kalia and BeachWalk. PRICES Prices were not that inflated, considering it’s right in the middle of all these pricey Waikiki resorts. Acai bowl $ 9.45 Gelato $ 4.95/$ 6.45 Macaron $ 2.25 Banh mi $ 7.95 Pressed panini 8.50 chicken pesto PARKING We parked at the post office down on Saratoga because we were visiting some friends who were staying in the area. There’s also street metered parking on Saratoga. I think you can also pay/park in the Ft Derussy parking lot. HOURS They are open late! Open 9am til 11pm DAILY. This place is little corner café, great for take out or a short snack on the lanai. Recommend.

Beachwalk Café is a cute little place off the corner of Beach Walk and Kalia Road(right next to the Embassy Suites and Roy’s). They sell paninis, bahn mi/croissant sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, acai bowls, macarons and gelato! I’ve tried their Turkey Sundried Tomatos Panini, Chicken Curry Bahn Mi and Mango Macaron. They were all very delicious. The Turkey panini was probably my favorite so far. It was flavorful, delicious and definitely filled me. I also really enjoyed their mango macaron, which came from La Tour Café! It was light and fluffy, and the filling was sweet and yummy. My friend also always orders the Meatball Bahn Mi. I’ve never tasted it, but it must be good for her to always keep ordering it haha. I’ve yet to try their gelato! Knowing it’s been super hot lately, I’ve been tempted to eat something cold. But I never make it to dessert because I get so full so easily. At least you know eating just a sandwich here will leave you satisfied. BUT I will someday try their gelato since everyone keeps raving about it on their reviews lol. Service here is always good. They always greet us as we enter, and never get impatient with us as we indecisively decide what we want to order. Prices are tad bit expensive here, but it is in Waikiki and it’s near the beach, so it’s to be expected.

Are you strolling the beaches of Waikiki looking for a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich? Then this is your place. They’re open early. Stick with the chicken BBQ banh mi. The bread was perfect. The chicken was flavorful and everything was made on the spot and tasted fresh. It takes them a few minutes so sit back and people watch on their patio. Well worth a visit.

I just ate a full meal + dessert and there it is taunting me. A humongous picture of colorful macarons adorned on their glass wall. I immediately take a turn with three kids in tow and a hubby who is on vacay mode whom I’m hoping will let me buy some. My youngest sweet tooth baby yells out, «macarooooon peeazzeee, macaroooooon peeazzeee.» I’m doing a a dance in my head because I can see the look on my husbands face as his offspring is pulling out all the stops to ensure his request is made. My baby tilts his head, he makes his eyes more chinky, and he gives a huge smile with that dimple in tow. My husband couldn’t bare the cuteness and obliged. What: It’s a little corner café with French and Vietnamese inspired eats. They offer: –variety of packaged bake goods(from La Tour Café) –Gelato(La Gelertia) –Bahn Mi Vietnamese Sandwiches(similar to Bale) –MACARONS from LATOURCAFE –Acai Bowls –Pitaya bowls –Smoothies –Panini –Coffee Where: It’s located in the hotel of Wakiki Beach Walk. Near Roy’s Waikiki. Across of Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. Kim’s Favorite Items to purchase: **The macarons of course. My favorite flavors: –Green Tea, the flavor is suttle –Strawberry Cheesecake –Red Velvet –Kona Coffee –Oreo –Taro (((BUY12GET1FREE))) **Chicken Pesto Panini** It’s an awesome mix of chicken, pesto, spinach and loads of cheese melted together. They offer the same item at La Tour. This café offers so many things that La Tour sells I asked if it was owned by La Tour but the woman helping me told me that it’s a different owner and they purchase a lot of their items from La Tour. Service: I have been here several times and the workers have given me and my family good service. We have been greeted right away. We were offered to try free samples of the gelato. I usually have questions about the new products that they have and they take their time to answer me. If I’m in the area this is a must stop for me.
