Bassett Tree Service removed a rapidly growing banyan that was becoming a risk to my neighbors property. Cody and his crew were professional all the way from start to finish. Returned my call immediately, provided a reasonable bid, arrived on time and got right to work. They even cut me a few slices of the trunk to keep. I thought about doing it myself but I’m really glad I didn’t after seeing how much nasty heavy debris there was. DON’T try and cut it down yourself. Bassett get all of my tree work from now on.

I have used a number of tree services for my home in the past 30 years and even complained about one on Unilocal.No company comes close to quality and customer service as Bassett. Cody Bassett is an arborist and a perfectionist. He provided me a clear written quote, called to confirm our appointment, and even called a half hour before he arrived the day of the service. Not only did he shape the trees beautifully, he left the yard spotless. His assistant, is a former army ranger. Very impressive crew, I can’t talk enough about them.

I called Cody to take care of a couple of trees in my backyard. He got rid of the trees in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost. Had I done it myself, it would have cost me money to rent the equipment and a lot of time to do the job. The best part was that I was at home and did not even hear him working in the backyard!

We have a pretty healthy lot of trees and other foliage at our place on the Windward side. While we adore the lushness and fullness of the fruit trees on our property, we didn’t love how overgrown some of our trees had become and wanted to call in someone who understood the importance of cutting back/​trimming up while keeping the beauty of the trees. We did NOT want a service that could quote a low price only to hack up a tree, leaving a crippled stump or worse. Cody’s team was awesome — they understood the balance of keeping the beauty yet achieving a clean, trim, healthy look to our beloved ulu, mango and other trees on the property. They were professional, conscientious, efficiently fast and easy going. We highly recommend Cody & his guys anytime — you’ll get a helpful expert with the willingness to work with you. Price was reasonable and certainly worth the value.
