An insanely convenient location for people who work in town. It’s a 10 minute walk to downtown and an easy commute by bus or auto to almost everywhere else. Then there’s the nearby shopping. Big boxers like Costco, Lowe’s, and Best Buy are up the street in Iwilei. Two Longs within walking distance. Two more Safeways. Lots of hip boutiques in Chinatown. And for the pizza lovers, you can walk to the pizza joint in the state — JJ Dolans — whenever you darn well please. Security guards are on property 24⁄7 and sadly they’re needed. Lots(and I do mean lots) of homeless in Aala Park. Still, in seven years of living here, I’ve never had a negative run in with the homeless.

Was there just to drop off food to a super sweet elderly couple that we have befriended. Try to do this periodically esp because the husband is very old school samurai type and she is quite fragile and has pretty bad arthritis in her hands that causes it to be disformed which she recently had corrective surgery on. Just found out that she fell and broke her leg so the timing that we popped in was perfect. Blah Blah Blah… Yeah the rant was above was not about the building but I must say that the pick up and drop off area of the building is quite sizable and there is security for the building. Seems like a nice place.
