I never thought I would willingly offer my body as a pin cushion or furthermore pay someone to do it. However, Geri’s treatments helped me get feeling back in my face after a major surgery and I’ve been a believer ever since. I once counted 27 needles from head to toe(granted, I had a lot of «issues» to correct so that may not be typical!) I Unilocal,I tell the truth. So I won’t sugar coat acupuncture by telling you, «oh it doesn’t hurt at all!“or «You won’t feel a thing!» While you won’t be writhing in pain, you may feel some needles, depending on your ailments. She may also use a device to send an electrical current down certain needles — it’s like a little zap. There are two treatment beds, separated by a wall, but there is no door, just curtains. The office is very clean and I totally trust her with my treatments. She won’t tell you to come unnecessarily. Once your issues are resolved, she’ll advise you to come less frequently — I’m now on quarterly visits. I won’t bother being an acupuncture expert by explaining how it all works. That’s what Google is for. Geri will start by looking at your tongue and/or take your pulse on both wrists to assess you for ailments you didn’t even know about. Traditional Chinese medicine stuff. I’m sorry I won’t have any pics to post. It’s hard to take a self portrait while a pin cushion. Ohhh…her appointments always run on time, so if you are late, please call and she may tell you not to come so that her other patients won’t be inconvenienced by a backlog.
