I’ve been seeing Dr. Adachi for many years now, originally referred to him after my dentist retired. He has done a lot of work for me, and is by far the best work I have ever experienced. His attention to detail, and your comfort is his goal, as well as his staff. Definitely worth the extra cost to have a professional who cares about his work do my dentistry. Always stands behind his work. He even had his staff call me this afternoon to make sure I was well, and everything was ok.

Dr. Adachi is a highly skilled dentist who makes it a top priority to provide the highest quality dental work. The staff and hygienists are very friendly. The office is very nice and the view from the chair is breathtaking! If that alone isn’t enough to convince you to make an appointment with him, know that he was featured in Honolulu Magazine’s «Best of the Best 2014»!! In conclusion, you get a great dentist at a competitive price! What more could you ask for?

After over a year of not having dental insurance (what with moving back to the US and all), I got a recommendation from a co-​worker to try Dr Adachi. His office is close to work, and it isn’t a big deal to walk there — so location is a big plus. There *is* parking around the back however, if you drive.
What would you think of a dentist, who is informed that you haven’t had a cleaning in over a year, and doesn’t do one while you are in the office? Oh, there was the exam and lots of x-​rays and photos taken, but I was told that I had to come back to get the «treatment plan». I was a bit taken aback by this, as I wasn’t experiencing any pain, and hadn’t gone to them with any complaints — I just hadn’t seen a dentist in a while. Prior to moving back to the US, I had regular dental visits and cleanings.
I may adjust my rating later, but so far I am not sold on this office as my dentist — although the staff appears to be very friendly. So far, I just see a bunch of bills going to my dental insurance for potentially future work that I haven’t said I wanted. If that changes, I will start recommending to *my* co-​workers. It will be 2 weeks before I could get in for that ‘review’.
