He repaired my suitcase immediately and expertly. Gruff guy, but warmed up immediately. Would definitely go back. Cash only, pay before repair. Guess he’s been burned too many times.

One star is not even bad enough for this shitty place. The guy/own is the rudest person I have ever met. He acted like I owed him money when all I did was to give him business! I asked him to fix both shoes and not only did him just fix one and told me the other one is not his job when I clearly told him to fix both. He BARELY speaks English and yelled at me for not understanding his broken English. I told him to be nice to me bc I’m giving him business he told me to give him money and get out! Stay away from this place if you want a pleasant experience, there are tons of shoe repairs out there, it’s not worth the fight. He also told me that when I dropped by he had to stop his work to fix my shoes well too bad this is your JOB, after all you do have a shop that’s open to the public. Learn some English and words like thank you, or please!!!

My dog recently chewed through the strap of my 6 month old North Face backpack, just in time for the beginning of the school year. After dealing with it for about a week and a half, I am planning to a trip to a friends wedding and wanted to be able to go hiking with my backpack. Problem: I leave tomorrow. After scrolling through Unilocal and calling a few places, I decided to give this place a go. Stopped in, showed him the bag, and he took it back and fixed it in less time than it took to write this review(honest, I started typing when he took it and now I’m sitting in my car to finish it). The work looks solid and decent, definitely not noticeable unless you were looking for it. $ 8 for on the spot service. Definitely coming back here!

Fast service and for a fair price — yay, makes for a happy girl. This was the first time trying this repair shop and I was very pleased. I looked up this business on Unilocal and decided to try it. I called to ask if they were open being that today is Christmas Eve and yes they were open. Conveniently located on diamond head side of McCully Street, between Waiola and Citron streets. Walked in and asked if he could fix a luggage handle, he said yes and if I wanted to wait for it. Sure, wow, on the spot service — nice. He explained how he could fix it and did right there. Didn’t have to wait very long and charged $ 15.(Note prepare to bring cash, no personal checks/credit cards — only drawback). I plan on bringing in some shoes that need repairs back to this guy… so we’ll see how it goes. I will do a follow up review, so stay tuned. I

Same day, next day, when you want it service! He repaired several heels(sole and heel) and flats i was ready to throw away. The flats looked brand new when i got it back — so happy because they are my favorite work flats. For $ 8 he repairs the heal and for $ 18 he puts on a nice sturdy, skid proof sole(prob changes depending on the type of material you use). Awesome work. So happy with my improved work shoes. He is fast and my shoes look great. He also resized my belt for me too. Love it!
