Really enjoyed my meal with friends at this restaurant. It is off the beaten path for non-locals but worth finding. Started with the corn and clam chowder which was delicious. It was creamy and had a great flavor. We shared a crab cake appetizer that had a potato stick type of crust on it and was quite tasty. For dinner had the steamed fish which was onaga that night and it was cooked perfect and had a good flavor. A nice option is that you can get the small or large portion(one or two pieces of fish). It was served in a broth that had some ginger flavor in it. For dessert we shared the symphony dessert which is a trio of their desserts-apparently not always the same trio. The crème brûlée I found to be especially good but all were really nice. I appreciated my friends helping me to discover this place as I really enjoyed the meal.

Ahi Katsu — This was ono. New York Steak — Jeff loved the burnt coating on the steak. He gave me a taste — it was a punch of flavor — good steak taste. Lamb Chops — The lamb chops were tender and the sauce was on the sweet side. It was delicious. 3 dessert sampler — I liked the strawberry ice cream; it was very fresh and refreshing. Jeff liked the chocolate/coffee thing in the center. The crème brule was ono too. 3 wine pairing — Consists 3 «half» glasses of wine. I tell you, I got drunk after the second«half» glass. But like a trooper, I finished all of them.

I came here for my 5 year aniversary. We wanted something simple and delicious. We know everytime we come here the food will be good. The menu doesn’t jump out as anything crazy creative but defiantly something to enjoy. I started with oysters. Then a butterfish. I was skeptical about the butterfish, but I loved it. It was perfectly cooked. My boyfriend had rack of lamb. I tried it and loved it. I love coming here and will always come back. They also have a space to rent out for lunch and dinner. My manager had a wedding here once. It was beautiful. It’s a great higher end mean that won’t break the bank.

I’m all about foie gras dishes n love trying it in different preparation and components. Listed on their menu was a Sampling of Rougie Foie Gras. A definite must try for all u FG lovers out there. For entrees u can never go wrong w the fresh catch of the day. It’s usually prepared w garlic mash topped w a crab stuffing, finished w a light creamy sauce. Yes, delish!

The food deserves 5 stars but the server deserved 1 star. We were celebrating a special occasion and were distracted by his loud pidgin talk to one of his tables. I’m not against speaking pidgin but this was not the time or place to be doing it. I saw the people at his table cringe when he opened his mouth and they were a local family. Someone needs to tell him to knock off the pidgin at work. On to the food! The dishes were all amazing! The ahi Katsu is as good as it was from the beginning of the restaurant’s opening. The escargot appetizer was huge as well as the wonderfully tender and crispy but not oily calamari. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and finished with an outstanding reduction. All the food was 5+ stars!

We haven’t been here for many years, and we’d been looking forward to treating ourselves to a great meal here. Sadly, the overall experience was disappointing. The evening started off well, with gracious table accommodations. Our waiter was okay, but seemed aloof the entire night, as if he had much better things to do than his job. Other servers were much more animated and friendly. Hits of the night: escargot, rack of lamb, duck(perfectly cooked breast, juicy with crispy skin but needed more of the yummy poha sauce), kurobuta pork, presentation of dishes. Misses: Chinese-style steamed fish with black beans(bland, only had 3 black beans in it), overall lack of seasoning in the food, bread pudding(it’s only flavor was of dough), and un-warm chocolate cake(it was room temperature, solid not runny in the middle). I took the cake home and microwaved it, then it was ok, but nowhere as delectable as I had dreamed of it in years past. I agree with other reviewers that our food arrived lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out a while before it was served. We did have a larger sized party, but facilitating timing of food service should be no problem for such an experienced establishment to handle properly. We probably won’t return for a while, since there are too many other great places to enjoy.

The entrees came out warm so the food got cold quickly before we could finish. Seems to me that it was sitting in the kitchen for quite some time after it was cooked. I like my food hot so it would have been nice to be served immediately after it is cooked. The carrots on the short ribs were actually cold, like it was added after the dish was cooked. Service was excellent to the point where our water cups were filled after we took a sip.

I have enjoyed EVERY dinner here! From romantic dinners to big birthday celebration… I am always happy when I leave. Ar this most recent dinner, my hisband had the lamb and i had the 3660 medley… oh, i almost forgot iur appetizers… caeser salad, prawns, and soup of the day… scrumptious! For dessert, i am so glad we ordered the sampler platter, lilikoi cheesecake, and sorbet. Even tho we were stuffed, we all devoured everything. The price, quality, service has been consistent for the last 15 years and I hope this establishment is around another 15 years!

(This review is strictly on the Banquet aspect of service) After 18 years of working in the veterinary field, I’ve been to over a hundred seminars. They are usually sponsored by a pharmaceutical company or distribution center, and the topic is your typical vet talk: Flea Allergy, a new and improved drug, a medical condition focus, the list goes on and on. LOCATIONISKEY. Let’s face it– If the food is great, people are more likely to attend your 3-hour seminar. And after an 11-hour work day of wrestling fiesty cats and beasty dogs, you just wanna face plant on your bed and not talk to anyone for 8 hours. So it has to be good. 3660 is hands down the BEST seminar locale. I am thoroughly impressed with their buffet spreads!(Other restaurants, take notes.) Depending on the sponsor’s budget, I could be noshing on Top Sirloin, Prime Rib, or Fresh Fish of the Day– all wins! My coworker is vegan… that means no meat AND no animal products including milk, cheese, gelatin, etc., and she LOVES this place because their salad selection is AMAZING! Asian slaws, spicy broccoli, soybean salad, couscous, and Mesculin greens are bountiful! You can choose buffet style or prix fixe meal – both are stellar IMO. The prix fixe meal I recently attended had seafood bisque, filet mignon and hot fudge ice cream sundaes… HEEEAAAVVVEEENNN. Service is outstanding. The men and women are very professional and attentive. Coffee? Yes please! Drink coupons? I’ll take a ginger ale! They have countless beers, spirits and wines that the doctors love to cash in on. Me, I save my tummy space for the dessert! Strawberry shortcake, flan, chocolate cream pie, bread pudding with crème anglaise… you choose! If you’re planning an event, check them out and thank me later! :D

My husband and I continue to celebrate our anniversary each year from the time we started dating. We planned to have a nice dinner, but didn’t know exactly where to go. We wanted to try something new. I always Unilocal things, and came across this restaurant. I made reservations on Wednesday, for Saturday July 25th(our 13th yr anniversary) for 6pm. The person I spoke to was very nice. I had to call the next day to change it from Saturday to Friday instead due to an unexpected event that arose. Today, was our reservations for 6pm, but traffic was so bad that I called and informed them that we will be late and if possible to push our reservation for 7pm instead. The person was very nice about it and put us down for 7pm. We got to the restaurant at around 630pm. When we checked in, the lady stated to have a seat and we will be seated shortly. That made my night already because we were getting seated before our reservation time. We tried the Potato Crusted Crab Cake and it was Delicious! For our main entrée, I had the Soy Sake Fillet of Butterfish and my husband tried their special of the night which was Island Ahi topped with Blue Crab and Garlic Aioli. We were too full for dessert, but overall, the people are very friendly and the food was amazing and the price was not bad at all. It was very reasonable. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new.

I love this place! The food and service here are excellent! They have a large list of different types of martini mixes here as well. I ordered the grilled beef tenderloin… and it was perfect. I don’t know how else to say it, but I had a lot of fun eating this dish. A mouth explosion with every bite! At the end, I shared their dessert symphony with others. Yes, this place may be pricey(compared to the normal fast food/take out that I’m accustomed to). But, I’ll definitely come back here again for that lovely grilled beef tendorloin… or maybe even for their land and sea dish! Oh yeah… try their calamari appetizer! So good!

Family took me here for my birthday, food and service is always excellent! Even though it’s considered a «fine dining» restaurant, the food is down to earth, it will fill you up, and the waiters are personal, it is not a «snooty» place, just please dress appropriately, for my birthday it was a surprise, and I was wearing a polo shirt, shorts, and slippers, and was still treated professionally. Even though inside I was shame. Lol

Keep in mind this review is based on a group meeting meal, I had no choice in ordering. It was salad — 3⁄10. Then chicken with mushroom, gravy, steam veggies, and mashed potatoes. The presentation was very eloquent, however the food barely passed«MEH».(I looked it up it is an actual entry in the dictionary!) Ate whole salad, tolerable. Over dressed, but not to the point of gagging. The chicken, barely swallowed 2 bites. Tried everything on the plate… The mashed potatoes were meh-. The cooked veggies reminded me of escargot(the texture not the taste). I was very hungry when I arrived! Now just a little nauseous! A little more than a little… I did not take it to go. To be fair, I have heard great things about this place and it was my first time there. If it hadn’t been for the circumstances of a horribly chosen dish, it very well may have gone much better.

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner this past weekend and I can assure you, we will be back! The food was delicious and well priced. I had made reservations ahead of time just to be sure. Parking is located in the underground parking garage and it is validated. When you take the elevator up to ground level you will see a statue of Dolphins. We were seated quickly and given a few minutes to review the menu. The waiter went over some of the specials of the day and the things they are known for. After looking at other reviews and pictures we knew we had to order the ahi katsu to start. It was amazing. I had the New York Steak and she ordered the Filet small portion. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert I decided on the bread pudding and she ordered the chocolate soufflé cake. First time trying this great restaurant and we loved it. For something fancy and food that makes you want to go back you have to check it out.

This is a review for their banquet hall services: I thought of inquiring 3660 last year for our annual Christmas party. They however don’t service for banquets on Christmas Eve. I was pretty bummed, because their prices were comparable to other banquet places I inquired, and their choices of entrees were much better! I love the restaurant 3660, so I knew their food would be just as good if we had the chance to hold it there. But because of graduation season, I was able to experience their banquet services and buffet! Choices in this buffet included a variety of salads — I had the edamame salad and Asian come slaw, and 4 other different salads I didn’t really care to try. I was more interested in the entrees! Chosen for the entrees were a braised chicken, the pan seared salmon in tomato caper salsa and garlic butter sauce, and the pot roast of beef. The starches of choice were rolls of taro bread, white rice, and red roasted potatoes. The food was good… maybe even great for the price that they charge. For choices of two entrees are $ 38 and then three entrees are $ 41. My daughter loved the fish, chicken, and edamame salad. Everything was tasty to me as well. Lots of unique flavor! Service was awesome as well! My water glass is always full, and they continuous monitor, ask, and offer service! Banquet parking is pass the building’s underground parking in a big lot behind the building. Pay $ 5 in the slot corresponding to your parking space! Consider your next event at 3660 on the rise! I highly doubt you’ll be disappointed!

Why 3 stars? My bff and I were here to celebrate her upcoming birthday, granted we were a few days early, but the one who took my reservations said that it should be fine. So finally the day came, yesterday we went to have this Birthday Dinner. Went in and order the famed Ahi Katsu, my single Oyster on the Halfshell, Grilled Duck Breast with Yukon Mash, my bff got the 3660 Medley, and the Symphony of Desserts to finish off. The Ahi Katsu was alright, perfectly cooked, but I had better at Kaka’ako Kitchen. Which is also owned by the same Chef owner… maybe… Oyster was awesome, topped with Tobiko and what tasted like Lilikoi juice, I really enjoyed it. Despite the fact that the waitress, young and peppy, practically teased me for ordering just one –_– Our entrees were prepared to perfection, the night was saved ish, hense the 3 stars. Duck breast was moist and melt in your mouth, my bff’s medley was perfect also. But we couldn’t finish if we wanted room for dessert. So we doggy bagged the rest. Now for dessert, the waitress boasted the pastry chef, so we went for the Symphony of Desserts. The Crème Brulee was to die for and so was the Chocolate soufflé. The Strawberry Shortcake was a little out of place but yummy all the same. Now heres why 3 stars and not 4 stars. We were here to celebrate a BIRTHDAY, I made sure to mention that on our reservations. WHERESMYFRIENDSBIRTHDAYDESSERT?! Because the table next to us, they got their birthday celebrated. SOWHEREWASMYFRIENDSBIRTHDAYDESSERT?! Anyways, so since it didn’t happen, I chalked it up to unattentive servers and hostess. Time to pay the bill, I put exact change and waited for our Parking Validation. I’m accustomed to leaving the cash tip on the table for when they clean up after I leave. So I was not surprised to see our same young and peppy waitress come back with a frown on her face. Because she found out the tip was not in the folder. So we didn’t even get a goodbye or a thanks… Safe to say, probably not gonna be back to this establishment for a while. Thank you 3660 on the Rise for making our first visit so memorable.

It’s been years since I’ve been to 3660. I wanted to see if it was as good today as in the past. Fortunately, for us it was! I asked the server what he recommended and he said the butterfish for seafoid. Also, he said he liked the lamb, although it would take a little longer to cook. We weren’t in a rush so we also ordered a bottle of wine. The wine selection has some reasonable bottles that won’t break the bank. Everything tasted great. I heard thru friends that the catfish was very good but the server didn’t recommend it… maybe next time? We finished with the apple pie. I believe that the service is what makes 3660 a great experience. In a very busy environment they seemed cool and professional. Service was great.

It was our last night in hawaii and my husband and I wanted to have a nice meal to wrap up an awesome trip. We saw all the great reviews on Unilocal and 3660 did not disappoint! Location and Atmosphere: after reading some of the reviews bashing the location and décor I was a little concerned what to expect, but everything was fine! It is in a high rise building, the parking was easy and I couldn’t even see the Goodwill some people were complaining about(we even purposely looked for it). The interior isn’t anything exciting, but it is comfortable and cozy and did not detract from my dining experience. Food: As everyone has said, they ahi katsu was yummy. The katsu breading was very crisp. LOVED the Lobster from the Land and Sea Entrée, it was so good with the red pepper sauce! We also got the Lilikoi Cheesecake and it was so light and fluffy. I really liked it and it was a huge portion, 4 people could share it easily. Drinks: we had the Lychee Martini and Waikale Tai and both were good, I wouldn’t say anything out of this world though, but reasonably priced for a nicer restaurant. Service: our server was really friendly and checked on us frequently. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to work well as a team. Overall I would definitely recommend a visit

My friends and I found this place when we were looking for fancy restaurants to dine at. At the end all 4 of us had really good food and great time here. Before I talk about quality of food I want to mention that our server was very pleasing to talk with and helped us pick good drink and dishes that matched our preferences. I also saw her check each dish as she put them on our table and went back to to find cleaner one before it gets on my table. I can recall many times at other restaurants where servers just don’t care to glance and I had to call them to replace it. Here are reviews of dishes we shared: — We first had Ahi Katsu which had really great sauce and the outer ring part was crispy. The ravioli also came with yummy sauce and soft seafood in it. — The crab cake was coated with hash brown around it, making it very crunchy. — Escargot came with bread dome, the escargot itself was very soft. — Oysters were little over the top on the taste, I prefer simple oyster with just lemon on top. — Tomato salad had a good sweet taste and prochute was yum. — We had small combo desserts which was all great. — The cheese dessert menu was something I’d personally avoid next time, a little too much to eat after dinner. At the end, it was around $ 40/person and I think food was well worth the price and we can’t thank enough for our server who made our experience really enjoyable.
