On Monday, January 18th, 2016, I placed an order at the drive through at this restaurant. The fries were cold. Not too big a deal karma all I did was ask for fresh fries. The young lady at the window apologized and said that she would replace the fries. Another woman, later identified as Maria, ask me to pull around in front of the doors to the entrance to the restaurant. After 10 minutes, nothing. By this time, the rest of the food in my order was cold. I went inside the restaurant to see what the holdup was and discovered that no one inside the restaurant was aware that fries with to be brought out to me. In addition, no fresh batch of french fries were in the fryer. At that point I asked for a refund of the entire order. Maria was nowhere to be found. I don’t normally do reviews or complaints like this, but under the circumstances I felt compelled as I’ve heard nothing back from anyone at McDonalds regarding this situation. I don’t ever intend to shop at this particular McDonalds again, and have serious questions about whether I will ever shop at another McDonalds.

This place is ridiculous for a late night snack. At least on three occasions I have gone here for a late night snack and everything I ordered they didn’t have, no mc nuggets, no crispy or grilled chicken sandwich, no pomegranate smoothie, no nothing! Ridiculous! They need to fire whoever the store manager is for not making sure that the restaurant is fully stocked!

The best McDonalds Ever… This is definitely the example of what a fast food experience should be!

I’ve experienced horrible drive-thru and walk-in experience here, so come with me on my journey as I review both… Drive-Thru: Usually the busier part of the«restaurant». The whole«drive-thru» experience runs smoothly until you pull up to the pick-up window. It’s all downhill from there, so don’t expect much. Don’t expect a friendly, perky person to hand you your food. Don’t expect napkins, either. I ordered a McWrap, had to pull into a spot to wait for it, the girl who brought me my order seemed to have«screw you» slapped across her face, and once I began eating my McWrap(which should be clean and easy to eat) half of it ended up on my lap because it was thrown together in hopes for the best! I was on my way to my second job and looked like a complete fool with sauce all over my pants! Luckily I was wearing scrubs. Walk-In: Oh. My. Goodness. Don’t expect quality service by ANY means. Based on what I experienced, I truly don’t know how this location stays in business. I walked in, decided on what to get, and a little girl behind the counter yelled to me, «What-aya want??» I walked up and proceeded to give my order while the girl laughs with what seemed to be the manager at a conversation I apparently interrupted. The little girl looks at me while I’m mid-order and says, «Wait. What do you want??» So I started over. She gives me my total and I pay; no «thank you» was proclaimed to me. Whatever. I stood waiting for my coffee, and the little girl looks at me and says, «Did you want a black coffee??» I replied yes and just shook my head. PAYATTENTIONTOYOURCUSTOMERS! I sat down at a table to eat my salad, and not long after I notice a fly or two buzzing around while I eat. Annoying and obviously unsanitary. I couldn’t wait to get out of this place! Will I go back? Never. Would I recommend? Never. By all means, avoid this place until they can possibly learn to get their sh*t together which may be impossible.

Good luck with getting the right food. I asked for a hot coffee and ended up with a frappé and fries once.

I went here for lunch today with my client that I work with and not only was this place fairly crowded, but it seems like it’s frequented by gangs of mexicans and foreigners. Not to mention that it had a berage of flies that gathered up in the restaurant. I had more of a better experience at the McDonalds on 159th Street in South Holland since that location was clean and people looked comfortable and able to eat without being overrun with people’s families and kids and flies congregating in the food area. This location needs to invest in fly zappers and better control of flies in the food area since that’s enough to make you not want to eat. I’ve had better seriously…

I’ve found that drive thru service is friendlier and faster than in-store service. The fries here are the best out of all the McDonald’s in the surrounding area. Burgers can be hit or miss, but for the most part it’s fine especially since it’s fast food and not a gourmet restaurant! The décor, especially in the bathrooms, is showing its age, but most people I know go to McDonald’s for the food, not the ambiance(or lack thereof). Free Wifi, which is always a plus.
