Went there to pick up some tortilla. They are made in house, though not exactly hand made, but I love how they really taste of corn. Especially when it’s warm and fresh, you can totally smell and taste the corn in it. They have some tortilla in the fridge, but don’t be shy to walk up to the counter and ask for the fresh ones. And it’s $ 1 for a big bag, so cheap. I just wish this place is closer to home so I can stop by more often. I didn’t see other food that were made in house being sold there, maybe I missed that, but I didn’t notice any food menu. Would certainly love to try out what other things they may have.

It is very small. It does not look fancy but the food is fantastic not to mention the Tamales and the Carne asada. You will come back.

This place is the best little Mexican joint around. It may look like a small grocery store but the food there is amazing. the Tamales are the best in town and they give a bag of fresh salsa with every order. I am Mexican and grew up eating Mexican food. This place is the best place to pick up food and take home. the Barbacoa and Carnitas are served with fresh corn tortillas. We pick up from this place at least once a week. hands down it’s the only place we buy tamales from. The food is excellent. I can’t say enough about it.

This place is great for a quick stop to/from the Keys… it’s more of a market than a restaurant, but they do have some picnic tables outside if you want to sit down and eat. It’s not the best looking spot, nor the most aesthetic location, but the food is great… homemade tortillas, salsa, tamales(you gotta have the tamales!!) all cooked on site. Really cheap beer and sodas inside too. You won’t regret.
