Dealt with Chris, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Took the time to explain the different mattresses, how they are built. What makes one mattress better than the other. helping me and my wife make the right choice for ourselves. we came home with an excellent deal on a new Sterns & Foster.

I recently purchased a mattress at the Mattress Firm location at the Waterfront and overall had a good experience. They have many options of beds along with a wide range of prices. The salesperson I worked with Devlin, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He wasn’t pushy but was attentive and helpful.
What I find interesting is that the mark-​up on the mattresses. Go in here knowing you don’t have to pay the price listed on the sticker. And that applies to the accessories as well.
They have several layers of delivery — all for a price — that can include day of delivery, next day, or several days out. They did not deliver within the promised time period of 11 AM to 2 PM so I called and they removed the delivery charge. The delivery guys were professional and quick when they did arrive.

After visiting this store I decided not to purchase from mattress firm. Upon entering, the two men stared at us intensly. It seemed like forever until i finally mumbled «Love the greeting.» They seemed to respond to that (grudgingly i might add.) And asked if they could help us find anything. We responded that we were browsing for twin size mattresses. He went on to tell us that all of the mattresses on display were queen and to tell him if we find something. Not 30 seconds later did the other man came over to reassure us that all of the prices were negotiable. We went from mattress to mattress, him still talking about the prices. What bothered me was the fact that neither of them tried to talk to my mother and i about the actual technology of the mattresses. In the last 10 years mattresses have advanced so much (Everyone literally went from sleeping on flippable squares of springs to sleeping on clouds) and you think that someone who worked in a mattress store would want to tell us about the benefits of purchasing a new one. Instead of trying to make a sale, maybe they could actually try informing the customers? We went in with intentions of purchasing 2 mattress sets, but instead we left with none. I guess the search continues.

I’m laying on it right now. It’s a plush (not-​too-​hard, not-​too-​soft) twin mattress. Delivery was quick, easy, and efficient. The sales process was low pressure but helpful.
Prices were a little higher than I’d expected, but there were many price point options.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the experience, and I expect to get many many hours of restful sleep in the new bed.
