Every time we come down to Homestead this is the first place we come to. The best sub place ever to exist. Great staff. I always tell everyone to come here and have the best subs in the world

Kind of hard place to find. Its tucked in the corner of a strip mall. From the outside looking in it looks closed. An open sign woukd help. No work hours posted on the door either. Upon walking in the place is packed. So im in for a treat i guess.
As im listening to what people order i realize everything is footlong only. Kinda bummed since it being my first time i wanted to try 2 subs. Oh well. I ordered the chicken and steak double play with jerk. Also a chicken bacon ranch.
Total price was $ 30. Yes thirty dollars. Two subs. A bag of chips. A $.99 can of Arizona. Two cakes. The subs were 8ish. So I got charged 14 for two slices of double layer cake. A dollar bag of chips. A can of arizona. That’s 99 cents. And a surcharge for potato sticks. They dont even let you know its extra. Ok. Well…
On to the subs. The whole wheat bread was soft. Nice change. Somewhat pressed down though so it all overflows. They do pack meat in the sandwhiches. But the bread being how it is doesn’t help. Good heat on the jerk. No other seasoning used besides the jerk while cooking. Onions grilled well. I’d give it a B. Chicken bacon ranch was flavorful but cold. Bacon chopped together with the chicken so it loses its crispiness. And the ranch added on the grill makes the sandwhich no longer hot. The cheese wasnt even melted through which killed it. Always melt the cheese.
The cakes were stupendous. Oreo and red velvet. Both were moist. Big slices. Flavorful. Best thing here. Worth coming back for it.
Now id give it a 3 star rating. Solid subs. Good not great. Meat seems pre-​cooked. Pulling out of what seemed to be a fryer. Not hot hot but Somewhat hot. Can tell by cheese not being thoroughly melted. Prices on the higher range of the spectrum. Surcharges for jalapeños, banana peppers and olives. Potato sticks too. Not everyone wears gloves either. It leaves things to be desired but the cake makes it worth it. Only reason ill come back and if im in the mood for a sub.

Okay, so this place is slowly making it’s way back to being in my good graces (based on my back to back check-​in). After leaving work in the Keys I continued on US-​1 trying to figure out what I’d eat for dinner. I decided that I hadn’t been there since sometime earlier this year or late last year so they deserved another chance. I called in my order (which can either work out great or be the worse decision you’ve ever made).
I made sure to let the lady taking my order over the phone know that I wanted my sub to be flavorful. «Extra seasoning please.» When I arrived my order was ready. I’ll admit, due to past experiences I was a bit worried.
Finally arriving home I said a prayer and unrolled my wrapped sub which was still hot, the aroma of the well seasoned sub filling the air. Now for the test. Would it be fresh? Juicy? Seasoned just right? I take a bite and I am surprised! That bite took me back to a time when they were my number 1 sub shop. When no other place could compare.
I was satisfied which resulted in me going back the following day. To get 5 stars from me all need is consistency between the food and the customer service.

Second time eating here one year later and it was a waste of money just awful worse than the first time

Love this place ! I get the jerk chicken or the Turkey Bacon. This is worth the money, the salads are amazing as well. The subs and salads are filled up they aren’t flat. Customer service is great! If you are ever in Florida this is a must eat place !

Awesome local business, their subs are stacked with all the good stuff! Worth just trying one time, they get your food out in blazing fast turn around time, instead of getting fast food like BK or the sorts give them a try for the same price! Even if you don’t eat much, you can save or share one of their awesome subs. I couldn’t help but finish mine off once I started, their cheeses and meats just smell and taste great! Made to order, it’s awesome!

Best subs in the area! I’ve been coming here for years and I always order either the steak and cheese sub or the hot turkey sub. Very fast service and subs are always consistent.

My boyfriend recommended this sub place and all I can’t say that my bacon cheeseburger sub was amazing. Customer service was good and I like the fat that I saw them do my sub and everything looked clean. I will be definitely going back for more soon.

I had the steak bomb. The wheat bun was a little stale and some of the meat had gristle. My wife had the chicken bomb and it was awesome. They were very friendly and made us feel at home on our first visit. The bombs were very filling and they were priced very reasonably. We ate inside. They only have one inside table — the place is more oriented toward take-​out and delivery. If you have a yearning for an authentic steak sub in south miami, this is the place to go.

Steak bomb with no cheese (only cause I shared with wifey who’s lactose intolerant)! But steak bomb was a great choice and the soggier the bread the better!

It’s ok. Not all that. The quality have seemed to fall off over the years. Although, they’ve extended their menu.

Around the area so i check Unilocal to see what was around me and found this place since Shivers was closed. Small place in a small shopping center but the philly cheesteak is the bomb!!! Enough said!!!

Best sub spot in Miami hands down! The quality of the food and great friendly service truly comes close to nothing else like it! I eat here at least once a week!

Best sub place! No matter what we order they never fail us! We make it a point to go every Sunday for lunch!

This hands down is the best Sub Place is So. FLA it’s worth the travel to Homestead!!! It’s take out only The choices are excellent.
