We started with the fish ceviche and beef nachos. For our meals I had the Mahi tacos on flour tortillas and my wife had the ranchero on corn tortillas. We were very impressed on the way the food was prepared.

Totally decent Mexican fare with great lunch prices. Fast, clean, efficient, friendly service. I’ll be back with my friend for another two margarita lunch soon. Just note: Very few bells and whistles here and almost no ambiance.

Great place. Friendly staff, good authentic Mexican food. I made the trip from Miami for lunch totally worth it. We have the baja tacos and the Molcajete. Both very tasty. Oh and the Michelada it’s great so refreshing ! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were in the Homestead area and decided it would be a good idea to have authentic Mexican food. Based on reviews, we chose this place. VERY mediocre! The queso fundido was dry and stringy, Baja tacos weren’t bad but I’ve had better. Décor and ambiance were plain. However, service was adequate, pico de gallo was good and prices were okay, hence the 3 stars. Overall very average.

Came for dinner with the family. Service okay. Out waitress didn’t seem to understand much English which made it difficult to ask her about the menu. Started off with shrimp and fish ceviche that never came out. Ordered the fish soup– broth was really good. Fish was in big whole pieces… Hard to eat and spelled very fishy. We also ordered the torta and burrito that was pretty good.

New to the area. Have tried several Mexican restaurants in south Florida and I have to say this is on the top of my list. Excellent taste in authentic Mexican cuisine. Well defiantly be back.

great food, a little hard to find but well worth it. I had the seafood soupa. Everything was fresh and yummy. We will make this our regular stop when we are in Homestead. It was not super busy after the races which was an added plus.

Rincon is a bar/restaurant, which serves good food, including seafood, which sets it apart from the other Mexican Restaurants in the Homestead/Florida City area. it is in a strip mall, has good friendly service and is spacious. i had the enchiladas and my wife had the skirt steak. they serve good Pico de Gallo but no salsa picante with their chips.

We were in Homestead and craving Mexican food. Found it on Unilocal and it did not disappoint at all. The server was very attentive and the food was very tasty. I had the the mini burrito mojado which was not mini at all. I ate all of it and was super full. It was a pork(al pastor) burrito topped with sour cream, avocado and tomatoe sauce. The sauce made the burrito extra delicious. The Agua Fresca de Jamaica was refreshing. Will definitely come again if I’m in the area.

We were in homestead and in the mood for Mexican, so I Unilocaled and found this place. Service was really good. Restaurant clean. Food came out quickly. I had the two tacos lunch special, and though I don’t eat a lot, I stayed a bit hungry with portion given. Had it been three tacos, it would have been perfect. They were good though. My friend had the burrito mojado with green salsa and didn’t love it nor hate it. It was a decent size. Their complimentary chips and salsa were awesome. I wouldn’t make the 40 min drive, but if I am ever in the area again, I would return and just order more food.

This is a cute small mexican restaurant in Homestead. I work in homestead and was working on the weekend, so decided to drop by to try it out based on the reviews Mexican Coke Horchata– was sweet, yummy and came with free refills! Jalapenos stuffed with bacon and cheese– I loved this. It was grilled, not fried, with melted cheese and jalapeño, and was awesomely ridiculously spicy and good. We saved some to eat with lunch as well as took it home(I ate it a week later, yesterday, and it was still yummy) Chips were fresh but pico de gallo couldve used more salt, and lime. Jalapeño chicken– panko breaded with pico, jalapeño, and advocado topped with creamy cheese sauce on top of rice and beans. This was a very tasty entrée. I had enchiladas chipotle– 3 chicken enchiladas with orange creamy enchilada chipotle sauce, which was smoky with yummy refried beans and yellow/mexi rice. Had it with a side of crema. Would eat here again if we were in the area.

The best Mexican food I have had in ages. Burrito Dorada with Salsa Verde; Chicken Chipotle; Ceviche appetizer and Fried banana cheesecake dessert. Would not change a thing. Service was so nice and the place is spotless. Food is extremely fresh and there is nothing heavy or greasy here. I strongly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.

Burrito Mojado con salsa Verde is fabulous with Steak or ground beef. The magarita and Aqua Fresca are refreshing after our trip to the Coral Castle. Food is delicious. It’s a great local find!

At first i was skeptical about this place, as a born and raised Mexican I find hard to find something authentic from my country this place was not only delicious but brought back those memories I cherish the most about food! I had the molcajete parrillada the food was smoking hot and perfectly cooked, the chorizo super delicious and the meat and chicken tasted fresh grilled, not microwaved like the other places, the tortillas were really fresh and soft and tasted like the original ones, had to ask for extra ones for my left overs for tomorrow’s lunch because it was way loaded, my husband who is cuban had his first authentic mexican food and he can tell the difference between real mexican food and the food he always believed it was mexican, he was impressed and wants to come again soon!

They certainly lived up to the best reviews. I spent 18 months in Mexico. This is good Mexican! I read about the burrito mojado with salsa verde, and really liked it. My ceviche appetizer was equally good. The servings were generous and not too much. In addition, the service was attentive, responsive, and friendly. Enjoy yourself, and the food — go there.

This was an truly authentic Mexican restaurant! A little gem inside a Winn-Dixie shopping center. The restaurant was somewhat empty. Ambiance was on point with the music and décor. For appetizer my boyfriend ordered aguachiles, which was delicious. Very fresh, light and spicy shrimp appetizer– delicious! I ordered tacos to be on the safe side and I was not disappointed. My boyfriend ordered shrimp coctel which not only was delicious but came with three oysters, a nice touch indeed. Being Mexican American from LA, we both get very happy to find authentic Mexican food in Miami. Definitely a must try, you won’t be disappointed.

Unilocalers hyped this place up for me, but steered me wrong! If you are looking for amazing mouth-watering, picante craving, Mexican cuisine, then El Rincon de Jalisco place is not the place to go. My hubby and I went to El Rincon de Jalisco on a Friday night. The place was DEAD. There was only 2 other people(not tables) in the restaurant with us at 7:30PM. That right there should have told me something. We started off with the typical chips and salsa(which was more like a pico de gallo) which was okay. We ordered the Queso Fundido as a start. I was so excited because I love cheese, chorizo and chips! When our appetizer arrived the cheese wasn’t melted, temperature wasn’t even hot(by the way we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant at this point) and we had to ask our sweet waitress to heat it up for us. Once the appetizer was heated, my craving for cheese and chorizo had already disappeared and I found the appetizer to be «eeehhh okay.» I ordered the«A la Momia» which was bacon wrapped shrimp topped with a melted cheese sauce. So I thought, it had to be good especially since the waitress recommended it. And it was good, although the cheese sauce was non-existent since it was just melted cheese… Forget free refills because this place charges you by the can. Overall, the service was wonderful(but then again, we were the only ones there), but for Mexican food in Homestead, it was sub par. Paying $ 60 for a party of two to eat Mexican in Homestead is definitely on the high side. There are a ton of better Mexican joints in good ‘ol downtown Homestead.
