Brown’s Chicken & Pasta

I like Brown’s Chicken and this is your typical Brown’s fare with different chicken options as well as the large array of sides including mashed potatoes, biscuits, cole slaw (creamy or tangy), fries, pasta, baked beans, corn, etc.
After calling in my order for pick-​up, I arrived there and requested a change to the order. The guys behind the counter were friendly and accommodating — which goes a long way in my book.
With lots of fast food type restaurants around here, I think Brown’s often gets lost in the shuffle, at least for us. Or maybe it’s the strip mall location where you drive by on the way to Jewel but don’t really register it’s there. We’ll have to remember to stop in more often. Fried chicken (obviously) has lots of calories, but it’s a nice occasional Saturday night treat for the family with some tasty sides.
