This is great pizza at a great price. There hot grinders are also good but I would not order there wings again, the meat was dry and and sauce which was dripping off was not good.

REVIEWFORTACOSALAD:
Legit as Fu*k Food Reviews @thevulgarchef Pros: legit fu*king salad Cons: a salsa based dressing rather than just salsa might have been a nice touch. Description: lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, red onion, black olives, pickled jalapeños, seasoned beef, shredded cheese, sour cream(2 Tablespoon sized packs) salad(4oz) crunchy ass tortillas. You can tell a lot about a place based on their ability to make a legit fu*king salad. Like, if you can’t straighten out a fu*kin’ grilled chicken salad close the doors already. This salad has it all. Everything you need to knock your d*ck in the dirt. The lettuce itself is crisp and crunchy, which is pretty much what you want since you’re going to be smothering the thing in all sorts of salsa and sour cream. The meat(which would be better if it was some sliced carne asada or some sh*t, but this is fu*kin Holyoke so deal with it) is your classic«I’m a White American who has no fu*king clue what an authentic taco is» seasoned ground beef. Wouldn’t have any more or any less add-ins. Nice blend of veggies and condiments. If you’re looking for a taco salad and Italian Friendly is in your area, this is where you get your fu*king taco salad.

Great Pizza, But I have been there and workers look miserable! Put a smile on and get an AC. Having staff work at Pizza shop with just a fan is pretty tough!

Great take out pizza. No dining room but it is meant to be take out only. Owners are friendly and my wife and I love their pizza. Been loyal customers for ten years.

Food is decent, not the best but not the worst. However, the workers are definitely not«Italian friendly». Maybe it was the case of the Monday’s, but they were miserable.

The pizza here is the best I western Massachusetts. This is a purely take-out spot with no room for sit-down customers. I’ve tried quite a few pizzas, but my favorite is the standard combination. They have the best crust– chewy and lightly salted. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because they’re not so great at grinders. I recently ordered a tuna grinder and received bread filled with smelly, old tuna. The smell stayed with me for days because it was so strong. I lost my trust in them to make good quality food outside of pizzas.

I don’t understand the bad reviews of this place. I moved down the street a year ago and I’ve been maybe 4 or 5 times and the customer service has been completely pleasant. And their food is kick ass. It’s a pizza place! For what they do it’s quite good. I’ve ordered pizza, calzones, and grinders and I have no complaint. And their onion rings are amazing for that late night snack after a few beers.

Ordered their party size pizza for about 10 of us. Their pizza is ok. I would prefer a thicker crust personally. I tried their honey bqq wings. I really liked them actually. I’m usually not a fan of sweet wings but the sauce was very good. Great location and quick service.

Despite the creative menu that includes specialty pizzas & grinders with outlandish names(Billy Bob, Blue Cow, Dr. Feelgood, etc.) that have unusual toppings & combinations; the food is pretty average tasting and nothing impressive. When this is the case, you would think that customer service would be outstanding. Ironically, this is not the case for Italian Friendly. I have stopped ordering from this place because any person that answers the phone, always sounds annoyed and pissed off like he or she(the woman who answers is especially cold & unfriendly) is put out by having to take my order. God forbid I want to pay with a credit card because that earns me a sigh and a curt, «What’s the number?» The food from Giovanni’s or Pizza D’Action is just as good if not better and the people who answer the phone are always pleasant, even when you need to take an extra minute and a half out of their day to take down a credit card number!

I can’t believe some of the reviews I’ve read on this place. I’ve been a customer of Italian friendly for years. I also manage a pizza restaurant. This is my second favorite Italian style pizza in the pioneer valley beat out only by family pizza in south Hadley. I would recommend and do recommend this pizza to everyone. The only thing I would say is I usually have to cook it a Lil longer in my oven once it’s delivered but that’s just my preference. I do that to almost every pizza I have delivered. I do think the pizza is far better than the grinders although there are some crazy ones with ordering just to say you did. Bottom line try it for yourself. I haven’t met a person I’ve told to try it that has said they don’t like it.

I’ve only had the pizza and it is below average at best. I ran a pizza shop and know how to make a great pizza. Italian Friendly does not. The dough is flimsy and other then the outside crust not crispy at all. The cheese is nothing special and their ingredients are cheap and tasteless. The worst part is the sauce. It is bland watery and just makes for a bad and sloppy pizza. Do yourself a favor buy a pizza stone and make your phone own it is easy, cheap, and unlike Italian Friendly it will taste great.

I’ve only had grinders from Italian Friendly but they’re always delicious! I showed up too early for my order the other day and watched them make it — big delicious meatballs, fresh, tasty chicken tenders all go on a nice fresh roll with fresh veggies — and then they pop it in the pizza oven to toast it up. Delicious! A large grinder will feed you for at least two meals, guaranteed. Nice people too.

This place is pretty good. I just moved from Chicago, so I have pretty high standards when it comes to pizza, lol, or so I like to think. In terms of the location, price, and taste, I’d say it’s pretty good. Have ordered from here several times. Their grinders and sandwiches are really good too & huge!

Most people have or are use to a «chinese take out«joint. This was certainly a take out joint as there were no tables, chairs, or anything for eating anywhere. Prices are so/so far as food. Size of «grinders, hogies, subs, or sandwiches»(where ever your from I think thats all the descriptions. Ok, I’m stalling yeah I know; they had some creative names and concepts for these items as well as calzones, pizzas, and so on n so forth. But biggest ingredient they put on there sandwiches is lettuce(3) to the 3rd power. Not to mention great lettuce either just the rotten brown low quality lettuce they couldn’t get rid of(so now i know where they cut costs). the ham/bacon was great but compared to how people were talking about it. it was a sad disappointment(I think I’ll stick with my other places when I come back home). Literally this place deserves a 1, but«for da familia» i’ll give it a 2 as it’s they’re favorite spot. Just not mine. Before I forget they also bake the sandwiches so long that the bread is extremely crispy and has a nice crack to it with every bite. However, on the walls it’s decorated with a lot of mafia references and pictures(posters of scar face, god-father, ect ect) which made for an interesting wait but very uncomfortable wait none-the-less.

Good pizza, creative ideas for pizzas and grinders. I like the size options. Pizza is always piping hot and generous on the toppings. Does the trick when ya want a quick convient meal for a busy day.

Whenever I have mediocre pizza, I always ask myself«Would I get this again?» and for Italian Friendly Pizza, the answer is «no». You have lots of choices out there when it comes to mediocre pizza, but sub-par ingredients(rubbery cheese, cheap pepperoni, a watery sauce that’s overly sweet with visible black pepper in it), and unappreciative staff, in a fairly dirty and uninviting atmosphere, are the reasons why I rank this place as «wont be returning».

Home of one of the Biggest and best pizza in Holyoke with the largest size the gladiator which is bigger than their party size pizza they have tons of topping combinations like their zoro, dr. Feel good, the duke, or their italian job and many more you gotta try them all. All types of grinders like their raptor Wich includes roast beef, turkey, ham, and bacon and their diner grinder that has chicken tenders, onion rings, French fries, mozzarella sticks, and all that is then smothered in cheese sauce and topped with Cole slaw now that’s a grinder that’s just to name two of their many unique grinders like mama Mia, Montana, thunderbird, the roman and many more

Friendly does just what it says: good pizza, good grinders. Heck, even good garden salads, served big with olives, Greek style. Open until 10PM, so it’s a good choice. We’ve gotten late-night pasta here– it was a large portion packaged in one of those big aluminum containers with a foil and paper cover, and the sauce was just a tad bit thin, but juicy and delicious, and easily sopped up with the bread. There’s not really a seating area, and they’re in an old bank branch building, so the delivery guys park in the old drive-through lane, and the ordering counter is just inside the entrance. In the summers it’s very hot inside, but they’ll get you your pizza nice and hot, and isn’t that what really matters? The pizzas are a standard New England chewy crust pizza, good toppings. If you want baked pasta dishes go down the street to Dino’s, and if you want seafood, go up the street to Schermerhorn’s. But here? Classic pizza and grinders take-out and delivery, done right. Enjoy!
