This was the worst experience from start to finish. Picone stone installed my new firebox and did a half assed job. They left my home without the firebox leveled, without the logs set up, and without leaving me the front! I paid them in full. What a mistake! I then couldn’t have the stone finished and they didn’t come back to my house to fix it for 4 weeks. We called them maybe 25 times and they didn’t show up on 3 separate occasions. They held up my whole house project! They were so unprofessional I actually considered hiring someone else to rip out what the did and start from scratch. I would rather not have a fireplace than ever deal with them again.

Nice displays (see pic). Picone Energy Systems has a cool showroom and professional sales staff.. . helpful enough to walk you through concept and design but not too pushy to close the deal. They deal in natural rock (slate, granite and marble) and manufactured stone veneers («Cultured Stone»), carrying Heatilator (wood) and Heat & Glo (gas) lines of fireplaces. Piccone will do your installation top to bottom, or you frame it out to their dimensions and call them in to finish the job. Mantles too. Go check out the specs and pick up some literature: «He who wants to warm himself in old age, must build a fireplace in his youth.»
