Cold and mushy falafel… stale and bitter pita. Surprised because usually I like this place.

Great mom and pop restaurant that serves freshly prepared authentic Greek cuisine. All of the dishes are wonderful but just a tad expensive.

The place was good. Nice ambience and delicious food. They don’t serve liquor here but you can bring your own drink here. I tried chicken souvlaki platter, hummus and feta grilled. The fries weren’t crispy(I personally prefer crispy fries), chicken was grilled to perfection and so was the feta cheese. Didn’t like the pita bread and hummus either.

Had dinner here over the weekend and was a bit disappointed. Came in around 9 on a Saturday thinking it would be OK since they are supposed to be open till 11 but we were rushed through our meal and they turned the open sign off before we were in the car. We ordered two appetizers — Greek Spin Dip and the Keftedes. Both were good and came out very quickly. Had to ask for Tzatziki for the Keftedes because they gave you no dipping sauce. We ordered apps about 4 – 5 minutes before we ordered out entrees so it was very strange that after only a few bits into the apps our entrees come out. This is a BIG pet peeve of mine(considering I waited tables for several years), when the entrees come out over the apps. So needless to say our food was cold by the time we started eating them. We have the gyro platter and the Lamb Kokkinisto. The gyro platter was good — but cold. The Lamb Kokkinisto had good flavor but was cold, watery and greasy as hell. There was an oil slick in the middle of the bowl which was a turn off. I will not be returning and hope this place can see they need some improvements to stay in business.

After reading some great Unilocal reviews I came for lunch and was so pleased with my decision. First of all, this place is adorable — the ambience and service are just wonderful. I ordered a soup and salad lunch special and left full! The chicken lemon soup and the dressing on the salad were some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back for dinner one night!

The one in Holmdel has good food, warm atmosphere, and welcoming staff and management. Mixed Grill is must try.

Tried this place out for the first time today and the food was ok. Ordered the gyro sandwich which overall seemed fresh. My only issue is that it really didn’t have much taste… my tzatziki sauce was tasteless. Like others have mentioned, seasoning seems to be an issue. I may go back and try something else… who knows, it could have been a fluke.

$ 18.50 for small Greek salad(with one stuffed grape leaf!) and side of potatoes! Way too much for small portions of average Greek food. Never again. Fool me once shame on you. Won’t be twice…

Very good serviceable chain in New Jersey. I like the Spanakopita/Greek salad combination. My wife, the Greek Chicken Wrap. For decent Mediterranean you cannot go to far amiss. Try it when your down on the shore.

Came here for the first time. Good gyro sandwich, roasted lemon potatoes were okay and the Greek Yogourt was amazing. Friendly people as well.

Wow! For a chain this is awesome Greek food. The gyro and tzitziki sauce was bomb. The spanakopita was verrrrry good as well. The baklava –dessert was definitely my favorite. They only lost one star just for being super pricey. Overall, it was very good. I have been here twice when I was in the area and will continue to go back. Just wish there was one closer to wall, brick, or toms river. There are no Greek restaraunts over there!

You like greek food? This is the place to satisfy your appetite. Went to dinner here and ordered a lamb gyro. The lamb meat itself was amazing as it was juicy, tender, and had great consistency throughout. They definitely do not skimp out on the tzatziki sauce portions on the gyro as well. Ordered a pizza too which was also great if you wanted something thin, light, and does not compromise on taste. Great place go grab a bite with the family. The staff was very friendly and always helpful in making excellent recommendations.

Received a double take offers coupon for 20% off and so we came here for lunch. When we went to pay the manager said he won’t accept online coupons. Why are you on double take if you won’t accept the coupon? Then he goes to make the excuse that in the fine print it says not to be used on lunch specials — showed him the fine print and it does NOT say that at all. Very disappointed and unfortunately we won’t be coming here again even with clients and co workers. We will take our service else where. Thanks for the disrespectful service

I think this place is great! I dine there frequently with my husband and 5 year old daughter. Pitas and hummus are always fresh. Other dips are very good. Have enjoyed everything from salad to gyros to full meals. Relaxing low-key atmosphere and great service.

I haven’t given 5 stars in while, but this place deserves it. BYOBHEAVEN. Family owned and run. Typical Greek favorites done in foodie style. Great taste to perfectly seasoned food. I had the grilled Branzino… Which is as good as any high end restaurant around here… really. Skipped the typical side and had the Greek salad. Wow… very good indeed. The service is so good I can’t even really compare it to anything in this category. Bravo

My husband and I love coming here on date nights… the food is amazing! Definitely order the lamb platter, it’s our favorite. Be sure to order your meat cooked less than what you want because they do overcook the meat every time.

A decent place for a good, Greek lunch. As others have said, it’s a bit over-priced but above average on the food quality. Nothing amazing, but definitely solid. We stopped in and both my wife and I had the gyro’s. Plenty of food and cooked just right(not too greasy as lamb can often be). The only negatives are that it is a bit pricey and the wait staff is a little lax, but otherwise a good stop for lunch.

Overpriced, sub-par Greek. The food itself is 3, maybe 3 ½ stars, but the price is way too high for what they serve. My dad got the gyro platter and I had the shrimp and lemon orzo. Both were just ok. The cold dips I felt were under seasoned and the hummus was nothing special. The food just gets an overall«meh.» Charging so much for such unexciting fare has kept me and my family from ever returning.
