This is partly an indictment of stores that use«club cards» as well as of this particular Winn-Dixie. There were no less than four different locations where you could find drinking water. I finally found the spot where the distilled water was. Then I grabbed coconut water that was being«marked down» from $ 4.99 to $ 3.99. I don’t have a club card but knew they’d let me use theirs at the register. The two cashiers had long lines, so I tried self-checkout. I asked the self checkout attendant to swipe her card for me and she did, then the price of the coconut water came up as $ 5.49, which completely made no sense… I told her and she said she would have to go back an check the price. I just left my items there and went to Publix and paid $ 3.99 in a much nicer store that doesn’t use those foolish cards.

This is my local store, like literally walking distance. This is my first time coming here. I have to say, this will most likely be my last. I just went to buy some bacon for breakfast. Went to the meat aisle and notice the lack of meat in stock. When I went to the get the bacon, I notice on the box, a weird substance that got into my hand. I looked around and and saw how dirty the meat isles was. Never coming back again, I always preferred Publix over Winn-Dixie.

This Winn-Dixie location leaves much to be desired. I went grocery shopping one evening after work. Aisles were disorganized, I couldn’t find everything I needed, and(what bothered me most) is that prices were about 20% higher than at the supermarket where I usually shop. On the rare occasion that I shop here I prefer to scan my own purchases, as I have had problems with being overcharged in the past. There was NOTONE U-Scan register open! I was forced to deal with a cashier who was not friendly and didn’t even bother to load my cart with bags. I don’t mind loading my own cart when I use the U-Scan, but if a cashier is ringing up my items without a bagger, she needs to load the cart as well. On my way out, I spoke with the manager on duty. Unfortunately, she seemed to be completely disinterested in my shopping experience. The Diplomat Mall in Hallandale and the Westfork Plaza in Pembroke Pines also have W-D stores, but their locations are MUCHBETTER managed than the one near me. My local store has A LOT to learn about customer satisfaction.
