Wflc-Fm 97.3 the Coast

It’s not officially the weekend until I hear Gnarly Charlie and the Coast 80’s weekend marathon!
Love this station… especially on weekends!

This is how you know you are old.
Let me tell you a story:
My husband came home one day looking very depressed. He had just heard 3 really great songs in a row… and then looked at what channel he was listening to. It was Coast. He knew, from that day on, that he was old. It was just a matter of time before he would hear his favorite songs in elevators, and rock out to them just the same.
But, when it gets down to it: they do play the best of the 80’s & 90’s pop. I don’t know so much about the today part. They make for a relaxing and fun drive.

Dear Coast,
I love this station. I listen to you at work regularly. I stream you on my computer. I love the easy-​listening tunes that always make me feel good and don’t annoy my boss. :)
At night you play the Delilah show, which you can totally find me listening to if I happen to be in the car. I’ve always listened to that show and have often even thought about calling in. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone that little secret.
The weekends you play all 80s ALL the time. !!! I LOVE that! Anytime I need a good retro fix, I know I can count on you. And not only that, but you play GOOD 80s. Stuff I WANT to listen to and reminisce. :)
Oh, and lets not forget that Miamians can count on you to provide essential information during a Hurricane. You always broadcast throughout the storms, advising us of what is going on and what to do next.

Ah, The Coast. Countless weekends I’ve spent running errands with your sweet ‘80s weekend tunes blasting from my speakers. You make me almost forget how much I hate driving in this city.
I still remember fondly breaking it down to the «Safety Dance» with a carful of friends my first year in Miami. «Sister Christian» will always hold a special place in my heart because of the airtime you’ve given it.
During the week, you’re great to listen to while at the office, with the soft rock and easy-​listening tunes offering a mellow backdrop to a busy office. But ‘80s weekends are by far, the best!
