This is one of the most prominent restaurants in our neighborhood. I have visited this restaurant on many occasions & have never had a bad experience. The place is amazing, well-decorated with comfortable seating. Its staff is polite & friendly; food is great; fair prices. Overall, this is a perfect place to chill out with family members & buddies. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves delicious & healthy food. James Kandi

I’ve been gong to Waffleworks with my family and we love this place so much! The food is great and the service very friendly. always clean and with all those walls full of die cast cars that makes the place look as an authentic car museum, with model cars that surrounds you everywhere. I ordered a Giant 16 oz Hamburger and was delicious!!! They are authentic«old fashion» burgers, made at the moment and you can tell for the flavor that they are not frozen meat as in large chains. What is good is that you can add your own toppings so it was made right as I like it. My wife ordered a Reuben Burger, another 10 oz delicious meal. It comes with Sauerkraut, corned beef meat, thousand island and many more toppings. My his asked for the eggs benedict, which is also one of my favorite meals. But their waffles are really amazing. We order two waffles to share. One is the M&M waffle, with lots off real M&M candies inside, yummy!!! The other waffle we ordered is the Dulce de Leche waffle… this is great!!! You will not be dissapointed with this place, for sure!

Today was my first time at Waffle Works and it was awful. My cousin raved on and on about this place so we decided to stop in and test it out. We were a party of 7 and when we walked in we were not greeted immediately. Instead we waited for about 7 – 10 minutes for someone to ask«okay, who’s not on the list?» After we were put on the list we were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was a woman named Cecilia and she was a huge disappointment. She took our orders and after that we didn’t receive service from her for over an hour. She took care of the people right next to us, got their food out and their checks, they paid and we STILL hadn’t gotten our food. When we got the food it was cold! I ordered an omelet with spinach, ham and cheese and they forgot the cheese. She took my plate with my omelet back to the kitchen, they literally threw some cheese on it and brought it right back. At that point I was super dissatisfied. She completely forgot to write down one person at our tables order and she blamed it on us saying why didn’t we tell her… um hello! It’s your job as a waitress to take everyone’s order and get it out to us in a timely manner. Everyone’s food was cold and even my cousin that raved about this place was with us and he agreed he had never received such bad service at Waffle Works. We spoke to the manager on duty by the name of either Dom or Don and he didn’t seem to care one bit about our bad experience. Gave 10% off and took off the meal of the person whose order Cecilia forgot to write down. I wish I had taken a picture of the food but we were all ticked off times 50! The service we were given deserved no tip and we didn’t leave one either! I hope the staff at Waffle Works reads this and learns how to properly treat paying customers as we keep the doors open at their establishment. I will never return to dine at Waffle Works. I gave 1 star because the water was good.

First time visit and very impressed with this small place. The model cars and Hot Wheels are an added plus. The service was great and While we are in town we want to visit again to try the Cereal Waffles(yes Fruit Loop Waffles). I had the Apple and Spice Waffle w/eggs, bacon and sausage. The waffle was fantastic! The bacon was o er cooked and thin, yet its bacon so its good. Not a big fan of breakfast sausage, but it was good too.

My roomies and I decided to stop by for breakfast after hitting up target. We all never been to the spot so why not check it out. I immediately loved the décor with all the toy cars and the old batman posters. The hostess ask for my name and asked for a table to seat three. As we were waiting for our table, one of the waitresses with that thing on her head gave the only attitude to that poor old lady after she asked about her table. That should’ve been the turning point where we turn around and leave the place. You can’t have an attitude if you work in that kind of envrioment. Since we were all hungry, We didnt think much of it and we still waited and hoped we didn’t get her as our waitress. We were finally seated after what? 15 minutes which was awfully long since it was not jammed packed. So we finally order our food and the shit. Took. Forever. Us 3 were getting restless because we saw other people that sat down after us and they’re already eating. At that point, we all decided not to come back after we eat. So after waiting like, no lie, 35 minutes for our food. It finally arrives. I orded a combo #5 which came with sausage, bacon, eggs and home fries. But those chopped up fry bits we were give are NOTHOMEFRIES!!! The food was good but man… those are not homefries. That shit reallt upset me man. I love home fries and they serve me bullshit. Next time, if you want good breakfast food, Go to a nearby diner. Robet Irvine, if youre reading this. Turn this place around please.

This is a great little waffle place in Hollywood. Better known for the huge model car collection decorating the wall and the owner bringing his Bat Mobile from time to time. It gets really busy on the weekends, but it is worth the drive. I always get the Belgian waffle with dulce de leche, home fries, and two eggs over medium. Perfect every time! I live far, but it is worth the drive for me. Service is good, coffee gets refilled often and food comes out as fast as one can expect from such a busy place. I will definitely be back!

Came here with a groupon to try it out. Food is okay not the best. I ordered cheeseburger with fries. For 7.99 guess it’s not too bad with a groupon. The waitress’s was busy running around. But she was nice and friendly and very on top of her game. We waited about ten to fifteen minutes for food to arrive. May come back and try the breakfast. It with a groupon because these prices are a bit up there for the portion size.

Hire some more ppl… About 5 booths/tables open n we are still sitting here after 15 mins waiting to be seated. A party of 5 that was waiting just left. This is why you need a Groupon. Get a busboy or 2 to clear your tables. Now the waiter is bussing… Surprised that staff still here.

The waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. As for the food, I don’t think 10 $ is worth a crêpe. Maybe if it was around 6 $ I would have given another star however the experience left much to be desired. My friends and I went around mid-afternoon, so there was only another couple there. My friends ordered waffles, while I ordered a Honey, Banana, and Almond crêpe. It was a good thing I ordered a side of bacon because what came out was just a single folded crêpe with crumbled Oreos on top. And crumbled Oreos in the middle. I told the waitress this wasn’t what I ordered. And quickly it was handled, only for them to be out of bananas. So I requested something else. The Blintzes, since it said it came with cream cheese and jelly. What came out though was another simple crêpe with warm cream cheese, and large strawberries. I borrowed my friend’s chocolate syrup just to balance out the taste because the strawberries were sour and mixed with warm cream cheese and whipped cream it wasn’t the sweet taste I was going for. At that point I just wished I had ordered a breakfast crêpe, and I also don’t think such a simple meal was worth the price point of $ 9.99. All in all, the décor isn’t bad, and and the service was pleasant and quick, but the crepes left much to be desired.

I’ve been here 5 times, the last 4 times out of convenience but hoping it would improve. With the exception of our last server Tony, no dice. I still ‘can’t wrap my head around’ this place. It’s decorated with hundreds of models of classic and racing cars but 90% of the menu is total chick-food. They even hold meet-ups in the parking lot for car enthusiasts getting together to show off their classics. The first time I brought my Wife they had the ‘Batmobile’ from the late 60’s TV series roped off and on display out front, we check it out and then walk into a place that features Belgian Waffles(chick food), Crepes(total chick food), and toy models of classic/racing cars. That was weird LOL. The service: Every single time I have been here the service was substandard to passable with the exception of Tony as I mentioned, they were super busy and he was«burning rubber»(as the Owner probably loves to say) in his Loafers. One of the best servers I can remember ever having. The Food: I hate to bag on privately owned Mom & Pop Joints but the food every visit has been seriously unimpressive. I’ve had their Waffles, Crepes and traditional Bacon and Eggs style Breakfasts, none of which have been worth going out of my way for. If I had to compare or grade what I’ve eaten here it would be: The Waffles are good, not stellar. The Crepes not as good as the Waffles. And the traditional style Breakfasts(Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, etc) not worth driving more than 10 minutes for, believe it or not the rattiest Denny’s has a better quality traditional Breakfast. Sadly Waffleworks is 40 years too late, they missed their calling. We growing teenage boys back in the 70’s seriously loved building model cars and were always«starving», eating anything and everything that didn’t have a lock on it. Pick up your game guys :\

I stopped by Waffleworks for two reasons, they were hosting a big car hangout & because I like diecast cars. After checking out the restaurants décor I looked through the menu & was in shock that a place called Waffleworks didn’t offer Fried Chicken & Waffles!?! I asked the server & he said he could do it as a waffle & kids chicken fingers. Whatever works I guess. All the food was decent but not great. My chicken fingers were overcooked & my waffle lacked any flavor aside from the syrup I poured on it. The people I was with enjoyed their food but one comment was the grilled cheese was rather small. Our server was friendly so no complaints there. This place is on par with IHOP& Dennys food wise, but the theme is what sets it apart. There are diecast models of cars all over the place. If you are a car guy or car girl, check this place out sometime. I uploaded pics of the entire menu so you can plan what you might want to try before going.

Its OK. Not really sure if this is any better than your usual IHOP experience, as the quality is about average. Can get crowded sometimes. The food itself of what I had were not that great, the omelettes were well done and kind of a strange harder texture, plus they dont have a greek omelette … my favorite! There are several other options east of I95 for breakfast and I’d even suggest the Einstein bagel shop across the street is better. Now if you are here for waffles/pancakes its decent.

I’d passed Waffleworks many times because I’m not that into waffles. Today I was craving a fresh tuna sandwich and fries. Sick of Subway, I thought I’d take a chance and check out Waffleworks: Firstly: There is a ton of parking outside. That got things started right. Walking in, the place is clean and bright. The staff greet you and allow you to choose your seat. The menu is quite large with a huge selection of pancakes, waffles, crepes, eggs, and other foods. Lucky for me there was an entire page of specials including my desired tuna sandwich, served with fries and a drink. Coffee was offered and happily accepted. It was kept refilled. My sandwich was prepared exactly the way I like it. The tuna was fresh and very tasty. The fries were hot and fresh too. The servers are super nice and the prices are great. I’ll be back…

Man was I so excited to try it! The décor is cute and interesting, it’s super busy, tiny, and popular. So I came for waffles– my mistake. They don’t even offer the standard strawberries & cream one that Dennys and Ihop have– which is crazy. You’d think coming to a waffle-specialty spot, they’d be pros in the waffle industry but no– such a letdown. Anyway, I ordered it custom since they don’t offer it– a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. So what they bring me is preserves(literally strawberry jelly) smeared over the top of the waffle– not a single strawberry in sight!!! … and wait for it.. . they were OUTOFWHIPPEDCREAM! It was only like 11 am– brunch time on a Sunday. You’re killing me Larry. Also, when we walked in, we weren’t greeted not once, all workers just walk by and ignore us all waiting in the tiny lobby– haha horrible. They’re really a 1-star, but I do like Batman. My boyfriend got the breakfast wrap and it was gross. Skip it

We just stopped in here after a couple years when we were here last. We just wanted a simple breakfast and we were in the mood for waffles and eggs, had some errands to do close by so we figured we could get in and out quickly. WRONG. We sat at the counter, felt like the chairs were about to collapse from under us, but saw that this place totally needs a makeover anyways, we just came for breakfast and really did not care. Was pretty interesting sitting at the counter watching the small cooks window pile up 3 plates high with meals that had to be expedited out to the customers. Seemed pretty chaotic, but if our meals came out hot ok. I figure, this place has been here for a long time for a reason, and was really crowded with a wait for regular seating. The food really took too long to come out, we waited 30 minutes at the counter, which I thought was an hour. If it wasn’t for the chaotic kitchen entertainment, it may have bothered me more, but we just went with the flow. The woman next to me ordered a Belgium Waffle, eggs and bacon. Had to send the eggs back because they were runny, but they made good on it, but the Waffle looked amazing. I just ordered a #2 breakfast which consisted of a regular waffle, 2 scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Finally came out and was really good and was hot. Just took too long. The place has display cases of old antique cars, so suppose the owner is into that, had no connection to the place, so really did not get it. So we had our breakfast, was good, and left. The waitresses were really friendly and helpful and worked really hard, so did not want to really complain about how long we had to sit there. We had a Groupon and was worth it. Prices are reasonable anyways.

This is a great place if you want to never be seated, never want to be talked to, never want to have menus brought to you and never want to actually eat. I sat here for 15 minutes and was never spoken to by anybody. Are you kidding me? Nothing ?? Wow, never coming back here again. For what? To watch myself be ignored? At least have the decency to just tell your customers to get lost. Don’t bother coming here, seriously. What an insult. Find an IHOP or a Denny’s. They at least care a little bit.

I give Waffleworks a solid 5 stars as it was exactly what I expected from a breakfast diner. Not less and maybe a bit more due to the ecclectic model car collection all around the café walls. We came around 10 am on a Sunday and it was not too crowded and we were seated within minutes. They also get my 5 stars becasue all the waffles they have on the regular menu also come in whole wheat with no major price change. Granted if you are having some of the cereal waffles, you might as well go with the real stuff and go work out for 2 hours thereafter! :) I had the pecan whole wheat waffle with a side of two poached eggs. Food was served withing 10 min and everything was wonderful. Total for my food and an american breakfast special with waffle, eggs, sausage & bacon was about 19.50 $. BTW: The regular waffles melt in your mouth — very good!

Ok truth is… nothing here is great, except the waffles! 4 stars just for the waffles! 2⁄3 stars for the service/other items. The atmosphere is ok, cars aren’t my thing but I imagine small children(especially boys) being entertained. I’ve been here twice. Both times with mediocre service(although my most recent visit was slightly better) and I’ve tried quite a few dishes, most of which are adequate yet slightly over priced. However, the waffles are something spectacular. The first visit we split the almond waffle and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. This visit we opted for the apple cinnamon and I was willing to bet money that it wouldn’t compare to the almond, but surprise surprise, I’ll now be dreaming about that waffle. Be careful what time you come here, our first visit was around 10/11am and it was swamped… long wait times combined with miserable servers. This time we came around 12 and sat immediately. Things to note: Look out for groupons, they’re plentiful for this place! DONOT get the eggs benedict — their hollandaise sauce was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Home fries have been different on both of my visits. Once they were great. Once they were pathetic.
