Great nail tech-John. Would highly recommend him. He saw that the gel base coat he originally used was bubbling under the light so he took it off and started over with a new bottle. Will be going back soon!

Customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. Basically they just try to get you in and out as fast as they possibly can. They speak amongst themselves in another language the whole time as well, while doing your mani/pedi. The«upgraded» pedis are NOT worth the extra money, the«lavender exfoliation» was approx 20 seconds of lavender scrub wiped on my legs and feet and then back off. Price isn’t horrible, but considering what you get for it, not worth it. I won’t be back.

I stared coming here in September and have not gone anywhere else since. There is almost never a wait, and if there is, it is no more than 10 minutes. I love that they have enough massage pedicure chair to accommodate those who are looking forward to some pampering. It took me 2 visits before finding MYGO-TOPERSON, and his name is: drumroll: K-E-V-I-N! He is beyond amazing. He is good at what he does, but most importantly he is humble, caring, attentive, and I can honestly consider him a friend. His wife also works at the salon, and she is also a great person – she does my eyebrows!

My acrylics have never been so poorly done until I went here. I’ve been a 2 year customer at Venetian and will still attend, but only to to Weston and plantation location. This salon at Pembroke gardens mall is HORRIBLE. 5 of my nails broke within the first week. Then when I came back to get my nails fixed, the man fixing my nails gave me attitude and rolled his eyes when I yelled back. He had proceeded to fix them and 2 days after, 2 more nails broke. Don’t waste your money here on acrylic nails.

Basic Mani and Pedi $ 35 no color needed because I’m going to the Dermatologist… Lots of oil to cover the cutting of cuticles… Cutting maybe 2 minutes??? No massage in chair… No customer service at all… Awful experience … I pay less my regular Cuban manicurist and she does a much more thorough job!!! Super DISAPPOINTED!!! Theory here is how fast can I finish you so that I can get my next customer! Stay away from Mr. TAN!

Do you like to live dangerously? Perhaps, you enjoy gambling? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this is the nail spa for you! Your experience will depend upon the skill of your nail technician, and who’s to say you will get a good one? My sister and I decided to have a mani, pedi and shopping day together, so we headed over to this nail spa, put our names on the list and were whisked away to the back in no time. On the way to the back, I saw that the work stations were completely filled with clients, nary a bored boyfriend nor restless school aged child to be seen. Nail technicians, heads bent, intent on their work, were all nipping and filing and buffing and polishing as fast and furiously as they could. I sat down on a gyrating spa chair beside my sister and hemmed and hawwed over what color to commit to for the next couple of weeks. They had my choice ready to go, but my sister’s was being used by another technician, so she had to choose another color. Overall, I was very satisfied with my gel manicure and basic spa pedicure because my nail technician, Tracy, was skilled and efficient. She was also very kind, answering all of the questions I had regarding gel manicures. Unfortunately, my sister was completely dissatisfied with her gel manicure and basic spa pedicure. Her nail technician filed her nails poorly(e.g. crooked, poor shape) and took forever to complete the services(my sister’s services finished a half hour after mine). To add insult to injury, her nail polish came out looking like wax melting off of her nails. Glob city. I think she’s had them redone elsewhere by now. This nail spa doesn’t accept American Express or Discover, which is annoying. They only accept Visa or MasterCard, and you need to tip in cash. Would I recommend this nail spa? Maybe. Getting services at any establishment is a gamble, but, as I’d never seen nails like melted wax before, I’d say this particular spa carries more of an inherent risk than others. YMMV.

I want to give 5 stars, but it can be a little hit and miss here. Mostly the service is excellent as I’ve been here many times, however, some manicurists are not quite as good as others. Also, I was there just last weekend with my granddaughter and we both felt the nail polishes were old as the coverage just wasn’t quite as good as it should have been. My granddaughter received a gel manicure and it was peeling in less than a week’s time. The previous gel manicure I took her there for lasted 2 weeks. I really think it has to do with who does your nails. What I do like about this place is that you simply walk in and your taken right away and for $ 35 dollars you can get decent to excellent service, and I’m not an appointment type person, so this place works for me in that way.

It wouldn’t let me review unless I put one star but honestly it’s not even worth one star. I was absolutely disappointed. I was greeted by my technician while she was talking on the phone. She also in the middle of the pedicure took out her phone and started texting. Uhm. Hello. I’m not there on your time I was there on my time. She and the front desk receptionist were speaking Vietnamese the whole time I was getting my manicure done. I’m sorry but if you need to shit talk about your coworkers in front of a client you think is Vietnamese. It’s a good idea not to speak in Vietnamese. Then for them to say I was picky and had crooked toes was disrespectful. I don’t recommend this place.

This place was so crowded on the weekend. Too many employees and also too many customers. I love their work but the manager made me wait for a long time. I only come here if i have a lot of time at that day, also i need to shop in this small outlet mall.

The first time I came I was in love with the place. As I continued coming I have seen a decrease in customer service. When you ask to do appointments they do not ask for your name which it seems they do not care. The good thing about this place is the variety of different nail polish. I can with a different color and they were able to find the same match for my pedicure, in a brand new bottle. Thumbs up for that.

I had a wonderful experience at the venetian nail spa. The nail technicians were very kind, personable, and very talented. My feet were treated with great care ended up looking and feeling FABULOUS! The only thing that made me feel slightly uncomfortable was the format of the store. The setup was in groups of six with three chairs on each side facing each other with hardly any room to be fully comfortable, and they only have about 4 seats to dry the polish on your hands and feet in a full salon.

My friend and I went to have a girl’s day. So, we stopped in to get mani pedi. We were summoned to go to our seats and relax. A mature Asian lady with a thick accent came to do my nails. As she did my pedicure she spit her gum on the floor. I felt grossed out and decided I would finish up and get pedicure somewhere else.

Pretty terrible place, its seriously a nail mill… Read what I wrote to them on their website contact form: Hello, I recently visited the Nail Spa in Pembroke Gardens and had a very upsetting experience. The weekend that I went to your spa to get a color change service I was in a bit of a hurry and was not able to do a full manicure and pedicure service. My nail tech was very rude to me during the short time that I was sitting with her. At first, I kindly asked her to please remove the green nail polish(the color I had on previously) from under my nails. She had already removed most of it but you could still see the color. I am not sure if she understood what I said and she replied with a flat out said«no.» I was a bit confused so I asked her again, explaining that the bottom of my nails were still green from the old polish. She pulled out a tool and tossed it across the table and I proceeded to remove the color myself. At this point I could tell that she was upset and her attitude became even more upset. While she was doing the polish on my nails I was noticing that she was leaving the sides of the nail without polish and again, asked her to please paint the spot she missed. She then replied that it will get done on the second coat. When she was finished he rushed me off to dry my nails but I was still not satisfied. When I looked at my nails you could see the old green polish along side the new red color. I just could not hold my comments any longer so I asked to please speak to a manager. The manager was not helpful at all, he did not understand what I was explaining to him. First he said that my nails were dirty, then I explained that the green he was seeing was my old polish color, not anything else. Finally, he said that they were not going to «dirty their tools just for a color change service.» That completely astonished me, it felt like they did not care about my satisfaction since I was not getting a more expensive service. After he saw how upset I was, him and the nail tech were talking back and forth in another language and finally said that they were going to do the color change again. I explained that I was in a rush and didn’t have time. I expected to get good service the first time around, especially for a $ 17 color change for hands and feet. On top of it all I had to deal with the most unsavory customer service I have ever experience in my life and a manager who insults my personal hygiene. In the end I left the nail tech a $ 2 tip and walked away feeling very upset and taken advantage of. We all work very hard to earn money, I have worked in the service and hospitality business for many years and I know that customer satisfaction is first priority. Please know that I will never recommend any of your spas and I will continue to spread my story so that others do not spend their hard earned money at a place where they treat their customers like dollar signs. Sincerely, Holly

Ok so I am not the average girl that sits there all relaxed enjoying her pedi while she gets her massage and the nail tech tickles her toes. I am a fast paced energetic chick who ain’t got time for all that. I’m the girl that comes in for a pedi, briefly chats up the tech so they can like me and not stab me with their tools and then I fidget thru my phone to make myself look busy while I anxiously wait for them to finish so I can go do something cooler; like eat or shop. Don’t get me wrong, this place caters to the girly girl that loves the pampering. They offer the rose silk this and the chocolate silk that but I just get the basic pedi and I’m in and out. My favorite nail tech is Q cause he’s just a cool chill guy who understands me but there are many times I just walk in and end up getting first available and that is fine too. I have never had a bad experience and the service has always been just as expected quick and painless. I would say the only inconvenience is you must carry cash at least for the tip. Many times I have found myself rushing out to go find an ATM and returning because they will not add it to the card. Overall I must say my experience here is pleasant. I don’t turn on the massage chair or close my eyes and zone out. I like to keep the peepers open to people watch and keep myself entertained as they carry on in their language. I like to pretend I know what they’re saying and sometimes I just make up the conversations in my head, so I guess I have my own fun. If I want to relax, I go to a real spa. A busy hustle and bustle nail salon is not the place for that. They get the job done and it works for me… a fast paced kind of girl.

While this place is very convenient being at Pembroke Gardens. I would typically go wih the girls and stop at Lime to get a margarita to fully enjoy the experience. BUT, the service is one of the worst I’ve experience. I have tried 3 times, and it’s 3 strikes you’re out! Won’t be back. The last experience was horrible. Nail technician didn’t properly remove my nail polish on toes. My pedicure was probably only 10 minutes long, which means she didn’t give a crap about what she was doing. I noticed the poor job removing polish when we moved on to my manicure as well. She was going to start painting my nails and I had to stop her and ask her to properly remove the dark polish before she applies a lighter color(sugar daddy). I actually had to remove it myself. Then, she started painting my nails and I noticed the color was too dark. I was a bit embarrassed to ask her because I didn’t want to seem so picky, but finally I asks and she was painting my nails the wrong color(marshmallow) when I clearly asked for Sugar Daddy. The filing was all crocked. She didn’t buff or care to remove those thin remnants or dust of the nail that is filed away. The polish was peeling off the very next day! I can’t believe how this place has remained in business! It’s supposed to be a good experience. We are the client and should leave happy and not completely disappointed!
