Tuesday Morning

Imagine one of those fancy large Marshall’s in an overpriced community for rich people. Imagine that home goods section in the back of those stores made into its own store. That’s what this is. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they are all owned by the same parent company.
The biggest notable difference, here, everything is organized and nothing has been broken by customers.
Seriously…that’s what this store is like and the competitive prices are the same.

I come to Tuesday Morning quite often as it is easier to get in and out than HomeGoods/​Marshalls and sure is a lot less crowded. Another reason I love Tuesday Morning is the staff! Everyone here is SO nice and helpful! I have purchased so many different items from pillows to furniture when redecorating clients homes. If you know what you’re looking for, you can find plenty of true «gems» that do not break the bank!

I have stopped in Tuesday Morning twice in the past 2 weeks to help furnish guest bedrooms. Their selection and pricing of bedding, bath towels, curtains and throw pillows is great. They had several pieces of nice accent furniture– chairs, rugs, etc. They also had cute seasonal décor for Halloween, and I’d imagine they will have holiday stuff coming out soon.
On my first visit I purchased pillows and 2 throw blankets, knowing that I would return one (had to see which color worked best). I was helped at the register by a nice, younger girl. She was receiving the items from me (I had several large pillows so she was nice to help). While she was assisting me, an older lady (I assume a manager) told her to help with something else. The young girl looked at her as if to say ‘I’m helping this customer right now’, but the older lady insisted, in a more annoyed tone. She only had to step away for a minute, but I thought that was very rude of the older lady. It wasn’t busy in the store at all, so I can’t imagine what the urgency was. Seemed to me she was flexing her muscle with the younger employee.
On my 2^nd trip to the store to return the blanket I did not want, I was helped by a different older lady, who clearly didn’t want to be bothered with my return. Very unapproachable and grouchy. I felt like I was a huge imposition. I know anyone can have a bad day, but I certainly won’t be rushing back in here for the experience.

The beauty of this place is that you never know what you’ll find when you visit. Tuesday Morning is similar to HomeGoods and other stores that sell a variety of home products at a discount. This location also sells clothing. Although, I’m not a fan of their clothing selection many patrons seem to peruse through the racks. My main reason for going here is their selection of frames and gift ideas. Although it is hit or miss, I usually find something unique and thoughtful to give to friends or family. They also have pet products at a discount which makes it a great place to find things for your entire family!
Verdict: This is a great place to go to if you are looking for a gift or a specific item for your home. They have many items for men, women, children, and pets. Their stock changes frequently so I always find new things whenever I visit.
