The Residences On Hollywood Beach

Although we’ve only lived here for 5 months, my husband and I have really enjoyed it so far. There was an adjustment period for us to get used to all of the additional rules and costs that come with living on the beach (e.g. $$ valet guest parking only), but they seem to be worth it! Management is not the friendliest or most accommodating, but the front desk staff (especially Shirley and Mario) are always pleasant and go out of their way to help. When we first moved in there seemed to be at least 2 elevators continuously not working, but I’m happy to say they have resolved the issues since. The real pros to living here are the bodega on the first floor (they serve fresh Cuban coffee!), the spacious balconies, plenty of resident parking, the amazingly beautiful and relaxing pool area with cabanas, and of course, the beach in your backyard! Compared to some of the similarly aged buildings in the area, I think this one has some of the best amenities and well kept grounds. I truly love coming home every day!

The rudest staff I have ever encountered. Other than robin and Mario, they are not friendly. Shirley would not even look up an AT&T store on the computer when my phone was broken. I asked her because I was new here and had no way of figuring that out; her response was «that is not my job.» Jennifer is very rude as well, for personal reasons that I will not get into. As well as management as a whole; they are very one sided and honestly just don’t seem to care about the people living here at all. Very rude is the easiest way I can put it… Do not move in here. The elevators never work either. They also have water bugs that look like cockroaches. Not a good place to live. Do not move in here.
