MAC Assemblies

I tried several times to set up an appointment and after three messages I was about to quit and not call back I tried one more time and someone picked up the phone. Bill. He was very nice and took my information and said he was going to call me back. I never got a call back. I decided to move on. I’m not sure how this company and all the other companies that I called survive. I received the same customer services with other companies as well.

These Guys need to stop advertising that they know how to install basketball hoops.
It was a comedy of errors that went on for 5 weeks. If you enjoy the circus then these clowns are for you. If you want professional installers go somewhere else.

I just moved to Miami and I’m very appreciative that they took the time to complete what I’m sure was considered a small job for them. The service guy that came to install my Ikea Kvartel system was professional, patient and personable! Which I have learned in the short time that I have been in Miami is not typical.

I called Mac after purchasing quite a few pieces from Ikea and wanted them professionally assembled. It’s not that I couldn’t do it myself, it’s that with Ikea, their stuff isn’t made with the best products so assembling them right is key. Plus big bookcases like the Expedit or glass showcases like the Detolf can take a lot of time if you aren’t familiar with them or don’t have the best tools.
MAC was friendly, convenient and scheduled it on the day/​time I needed. Joey, the service rep, called prior to arriving and informed me he would be running late because of the previous job.
When he arrived he was very friendly and professional. While he did not have prior experience putting together the pieces I ordered from Ikea, it didn’t take him long to figure it out and get started.
There was no rushing on his behalf. They get paid by the piece not by the hour so getting it done right is all that matters. Towards the end, of course the last item breaks. To his defense it was a faulty product from Ikea and could have happened to anyone.
The next day (Sunday) he went there to pick up the replacement glass and came over to finish the installation. To me, that speaks volumes. For starters, coming out on Sunday says a lot about them being dedicated to finishing the work and making sure its done right.
I’m happy with my decision to spend a little money and have a professional assemble these items for me, which gives me the piece of mind knowing they’ll last even longer.
The prices were very reasonable and their service was impeccable. I’d highly recommend them for any job you’re in need of help or just don’t have the time to do. Joey was great to work with and I can’t thank him enough.
