In an effort to help my 81 year old mother fight off yet another flood insurance increase to her modest house, I compiled/photographed information from the Broward FEMA Flood Map specific to her property to take to this business to discuss as it pertains to her situation & to purchase an elevation certificate after obtaining more information about it. I wasted about a half hour driving around aimlessly since this business’ website( ) listed its address as 7801 rather than 7081(this has since been corrected). I finally arrived at the location, only to find no staff in the office. A real estate agent, who is the mother of the wife(Tiffany) of the owner(Henry) managed to get Tiffany on the phone. I had to wait for several minutes just for Tiffany to confirm the address was indeed listed incorrectly on the website. Since I could not even share the pictures/info I had taken some time to compile as no staff was in the office, Tiffany asked for my mother’s address. After I provided the information, I got a quick«I’ll call you back» response without even providing a timeframe. I explained that I had driven to the office, taking an extra 30 minutes because the address was listed incorrectly on the website and that I needed to handle this issue as soon as possible before my mother’s flood insurance premium was due. I even offered to provide the URL/webpage address to the Broward FEMA Flood Map specific to my mother’s house, but Tiffany did not want to provide me, the customer, with the attention I deserved. I reiterated that I was sitting in the waiting room right now and that she should respect my time and discuss the issue with me now, not later, especially since I had taken the time to drive to her office. I again pointed out the extra 30 mins I wasted driving around lost since she had not listed the correct address on her business’ website. Tiffany then stated«I do not believe we can do business» and then hung up the phone on me before I could even respond or react. I have never had such a stupefyingly horrid experience dealing with a business in my life. I have never written a positive or negative review concerning a business either. It took this experience for me to perform my duty in letting prospective customers know what type of people they might be doing business with. Caveat emptor(«Buyer beware»)…
