If you’re anything like me, you’ve never attended a Dance lesson in your life and are searching for the best bang for your buck locally in St. Mary’s County Maryland. The House of Dance offers courteous service, a variety of dance classes weekly at an affordable price, and flexible schedules to accommodate anyone’s peculiar needs. I signed up for 5 private dance classes with Donna to prepare for the 1st dance at my wedding. My fiancée lived in Kansas and I lived in Southern MD; so it wasn’t the most feasible way to prepare for a dance. However, this didn’t faze Donna at all. Each lesson was structured, organized, and best of all, FUN. Seriously, I enjoyed the lessons so much that my wife and I are planning to take classes in the fall. To conclude, if you are searching around the area for a fun place to learn how to dance, come visit The House of Dance and ask for Donna; tell her Shane sent you!

The studio is dirty. I think I saw the same dead bug in the corner of the room for about a month. The rooms are awkwardly shaped and don’t allow for students spread out while dancing. And the floorboards that they use in the rooms are loose and that my shoe actually got stuck in one at one point. The instructors are fantastic but unfortunately many of the students don’t have a lot of discipline so it kind of ruins it for everybody else. An age range of 13 to an adult for a dance class is completely unacceptable. Being an adult I was excited to find a dance studio that offered adult dance classes. However, I think I will be looking elsewhere for a dance studio.
