Alex was really awesome. I came in here to buy a camera lens from an ad on Craigslist and he was very helpful. When I called, he offered to hold it for me until I had a chance to get over there. I had run over from school so I didn’t have my camera body on me; he let me borrow a body from his stock just to check it out. He let me take test shots of his head, and when he saw I was trying to view the pics he offered to find me a memory card.
Great prices are what brought me into the store, but his customer service made sure I’ll give him a call to see if he has any lenses I want before I search elsewhere!

I have purchased some JBL EON G2 Speakers here for an amazing price, and I recently came back and purchased a Pioneer Midi controller for an amazing deal.
Alex is always quick to reply and makes sure to take care of his customers even if they’re just browsing. The staff is pretty knowledgeable about their inventory and can answer all your questions.
Their inventory has a lot of new items especially for musicians.
Be careful for parking, as street signs are very confusing. Alex is kind enough to remind you about keeping track of your meters.

First time buying from a Pawn broker. and it was an amazing experience. Buying a used cintiq tablet from Alex. He offered to set it up for me to test. He didn’t rush me at all. waited until I was 100 percent finished testing. Gave me a great price. better than ebay or craigslist. I wish I knew about that place before I bought my guitars. they have a great selection of music gear. next time :)

On October 17, 2013 my sister and I shopped at Hollywood Pawn Brokers. The customer service representatives helped me find a beautiful silver ring — the exact one that I was looking for. And a magnificent jewel box to go with it. In addition, the customer sales agent took his time and showed me several other beautiful rings before I decided on my first choice of ring. Excellent experience… very fair prices offered and a very welcome «no haggling» aspect to it, unlike some other businesses which promise much over the phone but change the tune when you show up to do business.
