End Zone Restaurant & Grill

I’ve eaten here on several occasions over the past couple years and have never thought to give them a review. Shame on me!
The food is Bahamian style. This is a sit down and eat in restaurant as well as take-​out. A nice change from most island spots that are usually take-​out only. The theme of the restaurant is bright Dolphins/​Hurricanes colors. Kinda tacky. But it does serve the purpose of standing out and garnering attention from the street.
The food has always been consistently good. It’s fried. The batter is usually well seasoned. The tender conch melts in your mouth. Great baked mac n cheese. What more do you want? My only complaint regarding the seafood is that sometimes it could use a sprinkle of sea salt. Just a sprinkle can go a long way. My fish was rather bland today. But not terribly so.
They raised their prices and reduced the size on the sides. I wasn’t too excited about that. But the portions of protein are plenty and the food is definitely still worth a try.

The reason I gave this place 2 stars is due to the fact that I didn’t even get to order. Went with a very hungry party of 3, had a $ 25 gift card from
. That it was pretty cool and convenient that I could use my phone to redeem a «certificate» for a great discount, unfortunately the owner didn’t think that. The young lady behind the counter told me I had to print the coupon out. What is the point on participating in a site like
if you don’t not honor they’re best and pretty much main service!!! The 2 behind the counter made it seem like the owner was a jerk that’s afraid of modern technology. Get with the times bro! Now, hopefully I can call
and they’ll but the money back onto the gift card and yes, I’ll be making a complaint about this restaurant that’s stuck in the 90’s.

The food is great, I’ve been there twice now and I have not been disappointed. They serve large portions for the price. It’s a small place and the service isn’t anything to brag about, but the food is prepared well and taste great, I’ll continue to eat there.

Love the conch & fries! I’ve placed pick up orders on 3 separate occasions– each time a pleasant young lady took my order, repeated the order back to me, gave me my total & thanked me for my business. When I arrived to pick up my order– the staff looked up and smiled! Small things such as acknowledging my presence are key to me being a repeat customer.
My meal of fried conch and fries was delicious! The conch batter was light, the meat was tender and chunked ! I grew up on Bahamian style food– I am impressed.

I really wanted to like this place, after riding by so many times noticing their colorful signage and façade. Unfortunately, the little poptart who took my order had all the stereotypical attitude you come to expect from younger people these days. She got an attitude with me after SHE messed up my order. I ordered a breakfast special, she thought I ordered two of them. No big deal right? Well when I corrected her error she twists up her face and starts huffing & puffing. I couldn’t believe it! Funny thing is I wasn’t projecting any attitude at all, (I was smiling and darn near apologetic, even though SHE mis-​heard what I ordered… I understand everyone makes errors). Some nerve. They need to train their people on customer service. Food was just ok, certainly not enough to warrant the ghetto attitude. They won’t be seeing me again.

Sure this is as hole-​in-​the-​wall as it gets, but that’s why I went here. There’s clearly a lack of organization, structure, training and such missing. That said, the two young girls who took care of us tried to be as professional and helpful as possible. The food was great and good portions, though it didn’t come out all at the same time. I would absolutely return. This is a diamond in the very rough.
