The room was clean and was nicer than I expected. The service was outrageously bad. The first day we got here, there was a lady screaming at the hotel desk person about how she had to wait for two hours at the airport. I assumed that she was exaggerating. The next day, my sister came in on a plane. She called the hotel and they said they would be right there. Forty-​five minutes later, she called again and they said they would be right there. It’s been forty-​five minutes since that time and she is currently waiting in the rain. I called again and the hotel desk person was rude and said that my sister should try being patient. (After waiting 1.5 hours for a «10 minute» pick-​up. We wouldn’t have even been upset if they had said, sorry, something is going on, we can’t pick you up in a reasonable amount of time. She would have gotten a taxi, and she probably will now. I don’t advise staying at this hotel.

I made this reservation several weeks ago. I chose this hotel because it was close to the dock, lower rate, we just needed a bed/​shower… AND they offered free shuttle service. I called the hotel right away and explained we our flight arrives after 12am, and if we could have a late check out.
I called the day off to confirm procedure for our late arrival. When we arrived we were told their shuttle only runs until midnight. $ 26 cab fair. No where on their website does it say that. I explained this to the employee who offered no apology or help. And reminded me there is a $ 10 shuttle fee next day to the port the next day. I asked if that was discounted because I had to pay cab fair. He didn’t answer me.
I had to use the restroom as soon as we got in room. I almost slipped as the tile was wet.
Unlike other folks, I didn’t pay $ 26, and ANY RATE I PAY, I expect better service and communication than this.

Not as bad as I anticipated based on previous reviews. Room was fairly clean, staff was pleasant, and although the area is not the best, I wasn’t worried staying here.

Let me preface this review by saying that we booked this room for $ 26 online, so for $ 26, you sort of forfeit your right to complain.
First of all, it’s not in the best part of town. You don’t have a secure parking area as you have to park your car right out front on Taft Street. It’s well lit at night time and there are cameras outside, but you still feel a little vulnerable to someone messing with your car. They don’t run the A/​C in the rooms while they are unoccupied, so the room smells very musty and feels noticeably damp when you walk in. You’ll want to crank the A/​C down low ASAP to start dissipating the musty odor and getting rid of the humidity that built up since the A/​C last ran. The room itself was clean, bathroom was spotless, and carpet was, well, industrial carpet. One on bed frame, there was some nasty brown smear that I have no nor want any idea from where it came. Beds were decent and it comes with cable TV and free wi-​fi. I had no problem with the wi-​fi. It has a pool and ice dispenser.
Yes, they have a free airport shuttle to Ft. Lauderdale which is nice. Their free breakfast was pretty much garbage. I walked in to the office to find a juice dispenser, some stale waffles that needed to be toasted and two half empty bins of Fruit Loops and Corn Flakes with a pitcher of warm milk on the counter. There were some other options like stale bagels and corn muffins with jelly packs, so I skipped the breakfast altogether.
Overview: it’s a cheap hotel room to rest your head and take a shower while on the road. That’s about it. If you can handle that, then it doesn’t get any cheaper than this.

Don’t know what happened to ol’ Bruce W. but I’m glad I didn’t read his review before I decided to stay here. Appearances — I’ll grant you — it doesn’t look awesome. But the property is clean. The room was clean. Internet was fine. They even have a free airport shuttle and free breakfast. Stay here for a no-​frills cheap night.

Disgusting, The room we stayed in was gross, I had booked a non smoking but got a smoking room, there were cum stains on one of the chairs and mouse crap on the other.
The «High Speed Internet» is a joke, you will have better luck connecting to the wifi of the deli next door.
Our room also had a giant hole punched in it, the floors were dirty and they did a poor job of cleaning the room prior to us checking in. There were food stains, dirt, chicken bones, crumbs, and pubes on the floor.
The bed sheet had a blood stain on it, the windows didn’t close securely unless you pushed down on them hard, the front doors are installed wrong where the lock mechanism is easy to open with a card or knife, the safe in the room was non functioning and the air conditioning was louder than the TV.
Beware of hidden fees, they have them posted all over the lobby.
