Apple crumple or pb&j are definitely 2 of the best shakes they have! Really delicious and you don’t feel you are drinking a nasty or tasteless thick protein drink. The cups are a good size but I do wish the prices were a bit lower. $ 7 is the price on all shakes and if you want another scoop of protein that’s an extra $ 1. I usually come here after my workouts since they are right beneath 24hr fitness but having to pay $ 3 for parking plus the $ 7 of the shake, it adds up a lot. Take this as a treat for yourself when you’re really craving it or when you can splurge on yourself and your body for a good cold healthy drink. They also have juices which I’ve yet to try but they are cheaper. Other than the price issue the staff is really friendly all the time and very quick on getting your drink prepared and ready for you to be on your way.

Ordered a cappuccino, received horrible latte. Asked at the counter and they insisted that that was in fact a cappuccino, when it was at least 16 oz of milk with zero foam. My girlfriend got a smoothie, and it was really bad. 7 bucks was way too much for that horrible beverage. I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before, but I had such a bad experience here that I’m writing this right now. Highly recommend not going here and wasting your money, really terrible place overall, and I wish i could go back and ask for a refund.

I went into this place after a workout at 24 Hour Fitness. I was craving something that was healthy after a workout so per my friend’s recommendation I got the Body Fuel. It was very tasty. I have never had a protein drink where I dont feel the chalkiness in my mouth so this was a first! They also have a wide selection of protein bars, drinks, and also juices. This place is a bit pricey as my drink was big but around $ 7-​$ 8 but occasionally… it hits the after-​workout spot.

Whole lot of hoopla for not a whole lot of results. My friend recommended we come try this place out after a hike at Runyon to rejuvenate, so I went with it.
The first negative is the location. In the Arclight Hollywood complex, you can find this location. They do not validate parking at all, so you will have to go upstairs to the 24 hour fitness and «fake» that you worked out & forgot to validate your parking.
THEN go downstairs, order your smoothie, leave and pay a minimum of $ 3 on top of your smoothie, even if you’re there for 30 seconds.
Back to the actual shop, it’s 30% smoothie shop, 70% overpriced chotchke-​shop… with candles, Kiehl’s products & random stuff… so I immediately was turned off by it all.
I ordered something called «Tropical trip» and it was a mix of random fruits & a lot of protein. It was oddly chewy. I thought it would be more sour and asked if they could add strawberries, they said they’d have to charge me more on top of my ridiculous $ 7 cost.
Won’t be back, but feel free to try it out when you’re there.

I have to admit their protein shakes got me hooked. It’s very refreshing not to mention protein packed! If you do an additional power upgraded — you definitely got yourself a protein drink extravaganza!
I have always liked their shakes the only downside is that it could sure leave a hole in your wallet especially if it becomes a habit, $ 7.00 per serving + an additional $ 1.00 for a power upgrade. So for me, unless I’m really craving it, I try to hold back as It could be quite a lucrative treat especially for me since I am in this area twice a week! On a positive note, the guys and girls here have always been super nice and prepares the shakes quite fast. For an occasional treat, I wouldn’t mind getting their protein shakes it’s delicious and has plenty of options for your taste buds.

I did not know what to get so the guy at the front help me with my drink. It was the called Berry Paradise I think. It was amazing. The store had a great set up and they even gave samples. Love this place.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Edward, the manager, was very courteous and helpful. The shakes we ordered were completed quickly and tasted great. I’ll be back many times for shakes and maybe the breakfast burrito, which looks amazing.

$ 9 for beef jerky? No thank you. When I wanted to void it, because none of their prices are listed, the cashier threw a fit. Started slamming the drawer around, huffing and puffing and had a major attitude. I apologized numerous times, and he said nothing. I don’t know his name, but he’s the one with glasses. Will not be coming here again. Adam was very nice, though.

I’ve been coming to the Body Factory for a few years now. I think for the first two year I was paying $ 5 for smoothy then they raised their price by a dollar, No big deal but I had to go like once every two months. Today, I went back for one of their tasty smoothies and they price was raised by another dollar. So I’m paying $ 7 plus a dollar tip. $ 8 is pretty steep and I’m sure their rent for the prime location is pricey but I think I’ll have to go maybe once every 4 months now, $ 7 is just a bit high for me now. Still your products are great!

PSA: There is such a thing as too much protein.
I workout at the 24 Hour Fitness upstairs so I decided to come by to the Body Factory for the first time just for a smoothie. A normal, natural-​ingredient smoothie.
Little did I know that everything on their menu is pre-​boosted and packed with more protein than a frat boy.
I’m not a fan of supplements, whey protein, and all that stuff so I was a bit turned off by my options. The closest thing they had to a smoothie with veggies, aside from their tiny cold pressed juices, was this veggie whey protein they put into every drink. The guy showed me the protein, proceeding to pick up an actual ladle full of powder… bro…nah…
I asked for half the scoop and still, I found myself coughing up clumps of whey powder after taking sips from my smoothie.
Takeaways:
–Smoothies are freshly made, so I’ll give them that.
–If you’re all about da gainz, the smoothie here is perfect for you. However, if you’re more about eating your protein («Give me all the bacon and eggs you have»), then this place might be a little much for you. Robek’s on steroids, if you will.
–Cold pressed juices are tiny. You’re better off grabbing a bigger and better bottle from the Pressed Juicery to get more bang for your buck.

I love their protein shakes.
Stopped in after a work out a few weeks back and was greeted nicely. The gentlemen gave me some advice kn what kind of drink I wanted.
They have an array of different, all natural drinks, enough to curb anyone’s appetite. I had a green juice.
I ended up also purchasing their signature vegan protein powder so I could make shakes on my own at home, and it is delicious, almost tastes like birthday cake!
They also sell candles, lotions, soaps and numerous other items here.
Pricey, typical drink is $ 6 for a small.

Great shakes great service. A little pricey. But your healthiest option if you’re going to the movies.
They also have a lot of cool motivational books and natural organic products with plenty of free samples to check out.
I wish you could tell how much sugar was going into the smoothies that’s my only majir complaint. But definitely worth checking out.

This place has the ABSOLUTE BEST protein smoothies in the world — best tasting AND best performance. I was never in better shape than when I was drinking a ton of these after every workout. I love the Apple Pie Crumble and The Hulk. They taste amazing.

Great shakes… i’ll pass on the ridiculously priced candles though.

I rarely give Unilocal reviews, but today I was never more shocked to see such horrible manners from an employee. I came in and a boy named Jesse rang me up. He was very sweet. However there was a girl who was working standing talking to her friend at the other end. A few more people came in, but she just stood there and continued to chat. I decided to test the situation by going into the bathroom for a few minutes to see if maybe she would help the person out. I figured she would have helped and my shake would have been done by the time I got out…
But to my surprise, the girl was still talking and the line got longer. I could tell Jesse was a bit overwhelmed and wanted to ask her to stop chatting.
I couldn’t contain myself, so I asked the girl if she was on the clock? She replied yes. So I said, then why are you making me wait for my shake, and not helping out your fellow coworker? Instead of doing her job, or merely asking her friend to hold on while she helped her fellow employee, she was chitchatting on the clock. Well… Until I said something.
I’ll come back because of people like Jesse. I didn’t bother getting her name, bc it would embarrass her to have this read to her face I’m sure. I work in the industry. I know serving people can suck, but if you’re on the clock & customers are around, attend the customers. Social hour can wait until the customers leave.

I like the Body Factory as a company, they have a lot of stuff for: fitness, wellness and even home décor. I’ve grown to love their smoothies after trying a few. The Tropical trip and bodyfuel are really good.
They also have Quest bars for a really fair price. And an abundance of protein powders milk based and plant based. Their prices usually match up to the big online retailers.

Came in, stood around waiting for one of the men to look my way so I could order. And waited and waited, and finally one of them was ready. I ordered the Apple Pie. I asked for no protein added; and he said, Gosh, that’s the whole point. Okok, fine, how about light on the protein? OK.
It tasted a bit like apple pie. In a powdery way. Guess if I was into protein, I’d have a great time. It was well blended, but still, not my kind of thing for eating. Drank about half the drink before it became too icy to drink the rest. It was ginormous in size.

My gym partner visits BodyFactory quite often after our lunch time workouts. I had a feeling I wouldn’t be a fan of this place and I chalked it up (no pun intended) to the way these types of protein shakes taste — or smoothies, whatever the heck people call them. They aren’t really my thing! and usually not great for you but you’ll see if you visit this location that many folks the area and coming/​going to the gym have one in hand.
I’ll stop in on occasion and have a taste of my buddies — he always gets Bitty Berry with protein and loves it. I think it taste like a chalky mess.
I had a long hard run last week and we were standing there, me dripping wet in sweat and famished and I decided, today I will try one.
They are only one size (quite large in my opinion) an around $ 6 a pop for the basics, no add ins.
I ended up getting the PB&J and damn it was pretty good! but wait one minute, I looked up the nutrition facts and low and behold
these are packed with calories, yes they have tons of protein, but they also have carbs, sugar and fat.
My gym buddy is a very big guy so one of these for him is fine but for us smaller gals I think a smaller size would be good — or share one with a friend. I could barely finish half of it.
I’d definitely recommend this as a meal replacement option before or after a hard workout.
The staff are always friendly and pretty quick
and they sell a bunch of other odd and end stuff in the store.
