Babylon

One of my favorite new shops in LA. Cedric and Errol and very helpful and even took us to the back to check out the bowl. They said we can smoke and hangout up there for however long we wanted. Definitely recommend this store to anyone who likes skating and wearing Babylon and Trash Talk merch. 5 stars.

I was VERY disappointed how they conducted their business for my first time experience here. I was told by a friend to check out the store thinking it would be a great experience discovering a new clothing store. Boy, was I wrong. The store opened at noon and I had arrived 15 minutes earlier with a few customers standing in the rain. They didn’t let us in until 12:15 due to being understaffed and the employee did not want us standing in the rain. Thankyou for doing your job being 15 minutes late. However, the worst part about all this was we couldn’t purchase any product until he was COMPLETELY FINISHED getting the store ready which isn’t our responsibility to wait on him for. I just wanted to purchase a baseball cap and leave to go about my day. We waited around for almost an hour until he was finished. Patiently waiting, the employee moved equivalent to a snail in a short race. I was so upset how they went about their business. We kept staring at him and it was just so frustrating because my high expectations of this business was not met on any level to good customer service, professionalism, and respect. I give them a –5 star rate not even a zero. I don’t think I’ll ever mess with this company again just how they made me feel as a customer. DISAPPOINTING and to think I was going to shout them out positively on the internet while I was on my way there…

Today I got here for Babylons release at 11:45AM (15 minutes before the drop) I waited in the pouring rain outside along with a couple other loyal customers. We were patiently waiting for them to open the doors for us and they were clearly understaffed and way behind. The guy who set up got there 20 minutes before they opened and had to set up the whole store! Finally at 12:15 he let us in to get out of the rain but we couldn’t shop until he was COMPLETELY done setting up due to his own mistake of showing up late. We all had to sit and stare at him like dogs, until he was done setting up which took him another ONE HOUR. This company conducts business very wrongfully and one should never treat customers who drove hours to make it to there first in store drop just to be told to sit down and watch him do his job slow as a snail. Me and and my 4 friends were so upset we refused to support a company like this and decided to leave due to the disrespect and non caring attitude we received. 0 out of 5 stars would be my review if possible.

Definitely a staple in LA for skating, art, clothing… Cool spot. Great people.
