Camp Hollywood

As a little girl growing up in Los Angeles, I remember this camp! I have a picture too with the sign in the background and remember hiking up to the Hollywood Sign. I remember the trampoline that was built into the ground and the bows and arrows and all the activities, I also remember a scary house that was in view from the camp. The years that I think I went were 1976,77, 78 or 79 even.

I have a wonderful memory as a small child with asthma hiking up to the Hollywood sign. I was in girl scouts and we went to this camp called Camp Hollywood. I learned how to shoot bows and arrows, and we did arts and crafts, there were 3 legged races, all that group activity stuff. I was the best 2 weeks of my tiny little asthmatic life.
Yet I can’t find any information on this camp anywhere at all. I had a sweet mustard yellow ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ t-​shirt that said camp hollywood on it in fancy writing in navy blue. I know it was real. There’s pictures to prove it, somewhere. If anyone has any info on what became of Camp Hollywood I would love to know…
