Went here on Sunday March 9^th looking to upgrade my families 4 basic text phones to newer models as our 2 year contact was up.
The salesman on-​site informed me that he didn’t have very many basic phones and it would cost $ 130 each for replacement phones even though we would be renewing our contract. He tried instead to sell us on a data plan for the family which would run about $ 150 more per month on top of the 4 phones he wanted to sell us at $ 200 each. He tried to tell us this wasn’t a bad deal since we only had to buy the phones once every 2 years.
Really? I think he forgot that I had told him we didn’t need a data plan…
Checking onlline there were a number of phones which were under $ 10 with a contract renewal and several data phones which were free with a 2 year extension if we bought a data plan.
Considering I’ve been to this location before and have been ignored by the staff, I don’t think I’ll return.
I’m considering switching from Verizon completely now.
