The Groutsmith

I asked Jim DiBeneditto, owner, to give me a quote for re-​grouting my entire upstairs shower. He arrived on time for the appointment and immediately gave us his undivided attention and evaluated the situation. We recently had an AC condensation water problem and my wife and I were paranoid about the potential water problem stemming from the upstairs shower which was why we contacted Jim and were convinced it needed to be re-grouted…we were committed to do so. To our surprise after examining the shower walls and floor, Jim suggested we not do anything at the time as the shower really didn’t need the work. We were so appreciative of Jim’s honesty and consideration and that he wasn’t out there just to make a buck, we offered to have him clean the residue soap off the tile. Again, Jim being upfront and wanting to do the right thing, he gave us cleaning suggestions and recommended we have someone else who would be less costly do the cleaning. Again, we were amazed with Jim’s sincere approach to do the right thing. Jim walked out with a handshake and an awesome Thank You from me and my wife and nothing else.
This was a remarkable experience to say the least. Without question, in the future we would hire Jim and his team to handle any and all of the grout work necessary in our home!
