First off I would have given it a 3.5 star rating but with this one I decided to round down. First, the library is not huge, but it has enough for the kids. It has a nice little area where they do story times and plenty of kid books. It has a nice section of computers as well, very impressed. The not so good, it’s not really stroller friendly. The outside doors have the handicapped accessible doors, but the library, bathrooms. Etc don’t. I would suggest that during business hours, the library should prop the doors open so people that have strollers, handicapped, etc can easily get in. This is why I rounded down. Still solid, and will definitely be back.

The staff really makes this library special. I walk in and feel like I am wanted. Most of the employees seem eager to help me. There is always 2 – 3 that is not happy with their jobs and do not want to be there but I can’t judge the entire place on them. My holds come in quickly, the layout is user friendly, there are always new books coming in, they hold great programs. I have been a patron for 6 years. I loved Eva Perry when Iived in Apex, but for warmth and hospitality I think HS wins.

This library has a great pre school and toddler story time. Ms. Daphney is amazing with the songs, games, stories and activities that she does for the kids. My son was always excited to go there and she really got him excited about… BOOKS! We will be going back every summer to see her!

Very nice and staff is friendly. This library was much larger than I anticipated. Everyone that spoke to me was nice and willing to help me find things for me and my son. I like that they have a drive by drop shoot. You can also reserve books online which saves me time so that I can just go by and pick them up.

This place is much larger than I would’ve guessed. It dwarfs nearby Fuquay-Varina’s library and has a much larger selection. Still, with the wonderful Eva Perry just a short drive away, this isn’t the best library in the area, but it’s still surprisingly good.
